Preface

Many of us have lots of love to share but don’t express it appropriately. The art of expressing our feelings in words seems to be dying out in this fast-paced world. This is happening among parents, siblings, lovers, spouses, friends, etc. Many of us have the intent to love but lack the communication or the courage to express our feelings. We either keep it short or keep it within the heart, assuming that our loved ones will understand. The way we express our feelings during certain situations helps keep relationships healthy and growing. I have included in this book a few poems that helped me and my close friends and loved ones express our feelings during difficult and happy situations. Expressing feelings need not be an art, but if it can become one, then the results are boundless, and happiness is assured. Everyone wants to be pampered not only with gifts but with words too. Words don’t cost much, but it’s the effort that counts. I’m sure you will stand out and make a big impact on other people. You can use my work or certain lines to read to your loved ones or send to them through SMS, email, or voice message (if too busy). Happiness in most situations is guaranteed. In fact, in the olden days, love was spread through letters; words were powerful tools. So go ahead and start expressing your feelings and making somebody feel special. Say it before it’s too late. Let’s not feel sad later for not having said something to someone earlier. Let’s make the world more lovable to live in.

It’s so easy to say you weren’t aware This clearly shows you just didn’t care
