A Decade of Experience Gives Birth to a Defining Institution
Enabling Average Indian Student to get ission in the Worlds' Best Universities in USA
A Real SAT (Reasoning) & SAT (Subject) Test Experience
From the Founder's Desk...
T
wo decades and a more ago, when I decided to give
FIITJEE a foundation, I did that with a purpose to
provide an ideal launch pad for serious JEE aspirants. I
started off with a genuine purpose, a moderate dream to help many accomplish their dreams of studying in India's best institutes. Little did I realise the potential of my dream...... D. K. Goel (Founder Chairman & Chief Mentor ) FIITJEE LTD.
Since we started the journey, we have grown from a sapling – our first centre in South Delhi, India to a continuously budding tree—the multinational entity we are today. From IITJEE ission preparations to Integrated School Programs,
FIITJEE Junior Colleges, FIITJEE World Schools—the list goes endless. The journey's been commendable—millions of accomplished dreams, innumerable triumphs, and winning trophies. FIITJEE's purpose to help students accomplish their dreams, has brought in a revolutionary change in the Indian education scenario. We feel proud to provide a platform for students aspiring to touch acme. We owe our success and our aspirations for the future to our students who always inspire us to move forward in our mission. We are indebted to our students and their families whose trust in us encourages us at each step of this rich and successful journey. Continuing our objective to provide students with the best in education, we bring USA UnivQuest to the world of Indian education—a unique, only one of its kind concept that opens a vast world of education opportunities available aboard to Indian students. I sincerely believe in the program and the revolution it's going to bring along in the Indian education scenario. We wish students from all categories to reach for the best degrees available across the world. Its been a exhilarating journey. And the end is not in sight. For us, this journey itself is the destination.

Are you at the crossroads in life—trying to infer what you should do, or what you can be in future?
e all recognise the importance and intricacy of making career choices in life. Making career choices is an art because every choice has consequences. In fact, consequences are what make choices important and hence, follows the significance of making the right choice. Your choices and decisions are the seeds to your future. If you plant them in fertile ground, they will lead you to success. And, to choose the right seed is the most important aspect here. It is all about discovering your own interests, dreams and the ways to realise them.

Where's the world that houses your dreams — the world where you can accomplish your dreams, your aspirations?
Tough competition and high cut-off percentages for courses in India's top universities leave a large number of applicants disappointed.
Elaborate study and intense hard work leads you to high percentages. But does it take you to the best courses in the best universities of India? Extensive non-stop preparations, hard work, stress and pressure, and you still couldn't get a seat in IITs and the top medical colleges!
Limited seats available in good universities, and the never ending list of applicants...
Where do you go when you can't get ission in a course of your choice even
with 91% score?
Situation same across engineering, medical, commerce, humanities and other professional courses.
2
Yet, there is no Indian University / Institution even in World's Top 200 ?
3
Where do you go? What do you do with the dreams you lived with, your parents lived with all throughout?
Engineers, doctors and other professionals around inspire you but IITs/NITs/AIIMS appear a bit too difficult.
You have it in you, but haven't got an opportunity to prove yourself—your calibre.
S
ome of us change our course choices and hence, career preferences. And many who can afford the high capitation fees opt for private institutions — private institutions which survive on low infrastructure, low education quality and no job prospects. We all must have heard of such experiences where even after paying high capitation fee candidates have landed up with no jobs!
You wish to study commerce or humanities, but fear the limited prospects.
Studying in USA is an existing ion and you feel immersed in it completely.
You are not a great student but wish to make it big in life. You look for alternates to India's best, or desire a better degree.
As a parent, you want to give your child the best education, but are confused about the right route.
You want to assure a secure future for your children but don't know how to.
As working parents, you couldn’t give the best of time and attention to your child, but wish to give him the best future possible.
If your dream talks —the best education, the best available degree in the subject of your choice and the best employment possible. Don't COMPROMISE when there's a whole world of BETTER OPTIONS available.

ŸThis presentation is an overview of the real ission procedure. Many universities follow varied ission processes. ŸNot all universities ask for SAT Subject and AP scores. Presenting SAT Subject and AP scores definitely enhance the chances of getting selected for ission to preferred courses in top ranking universities.
BEWARE! Students already under pressure due to lack of study options in good Indian universities/colleges, get duped by sham universities abroad like Tri Valley University, California which was shut down by the American authorities. A lot of India students were affected and faced harassment like being tagged with radio transmitters to track their movement, in addition to losing substantial amounts of money and severe setback to their career. Had these students been more judicious while choosing the university, they would not have gone through this traumatic experience.

USA UnivQuest Incubator of Outstanding Achievers An education company that has some million successes to its credit, caters to almost 3/4th of the Indian students and is synonymous to issions to India's best institutions and universities for the past 20 years. Conceived to gift each student his due success, we have helped millions of dreams turn into reality. In a word, we seek to make students succeed. We are FIITJEE. In our incessant endeavor to facilitate due success to our each and every student, we haven't followed any restrictive boundaries. Come what may, we always try and make you achieve your aim. During our triumphant journey creating success stories, we came across a road with better destinations than IITs and NITs. The year was 1998. It so happened that Abhijeet Rai Vaish, son of our Chairman, Mr. D K Goel's friend—a fellow IITian ed us for IITJEE preparations. Abhijeet was an average student, but wished to fulfil his parents' high aspirations. He cleared FIITJEE's ission test but during the process to gauge a students' capabilities,we realized dim chances for him to clear the IITJEE entrance. Still we offered him customized, strategic trainings to try and take him closer to his goal. On the way came the realization that he could actually achieve more than what he aspires for. IIT wasn't his destination,
but ission to a better university abroad was definitely possible and much easier. Our counselling helped him trust this direction towards a successful career. Our hard work, right approach and determination to succeed took us to Abhijeet's new aspiration. He started to prepare for SAT, SAT Subject Tests and AP with us. With the help of our teachers and training he could realize his potential; he now knew where to go. Abhijeet cleared the SAT Reasoning Test with 1350/1600 marks in December, 1998 and TOEFL with 611/700. The scores got him through ission criteria for many high ranking universities like Michigan, Florida and Purdue. He did Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Today he heads a successful business enterprise. Abhijeet's father, Mr H R Vaish's visualisation and motivation gave our journey a new direction. And Abhijeet's success strengthened our purpose. Students stuck in highly competitive Indian academic environment, all with hopes of just being successful, further made us recognize the need of something better. And was born, USA UnivQuest—though it lived for almost 10 years without a name. Our students aimed for the best in education across the world, and keeping up our spirit of excellence and delivery we unknowingly started to work towards it. Ten years, unique exceptional results and success stories....

A Case Study... 1
Zubin, Arjun, Sanwar, Kareeb, Ummeed, Jay, Aseem Shiv, Angel and Mohak —all students of class IX and the best friends possible, have so much in common. The subjects they like, the outfit brands they prefer, the gizmos they use, the food they love and the future they dream of. All wish for a USA university degree in hand as their magic wand towards a successful career. But their ways differ...
2 In class IX, Zubin and Mohak decide to a four year preparation program but others think it's too early. The following year when they all are in class X, Arjun and Sanwar follow the same line and start a structured preparation. They a three year program. The following year, Kareeb and Ummeed when in grade XI too realise the need of a comprehensive and planned preparation and a two year preparation program. Jay and Aseem are the last ones to realise the need of a structured preparation and they opt for one year preparation program. But Shiv & Angel decide not to a structured preparatory program, but to prepare on their own.

Arjun and Sanwar stand a good chance to reach a US university with ranks ranging between 100-200. The detailed approach they’ll follow would make them sail through class X, XI and XII with flying colors and get them a good GPA score. The personality development they’ll gain through a three year program will prepare them meticulously.
Kareeb and Ummeed stand a decent chance to a good rank university. The program will prepare them thoroughly for class XI and XII CBSE/school exams, and help them strengthen GPA. The included personality development will help them thoroughly in the ission process.

Zubin and Mohak are likely to be the most successful of the entire group. The four year program provides them with ample time for a wellplanned, structured preparation to work towards their dream. The comprehensive preparation is going to help them win the race—they have strong chances of ing one of the top 100 universities of USA. They’ll perform great in CBSE/school exams, and improve their GPA score. And, the overall personality development they gain in the process is going to take them to ultimate heights in future.
Jay and Aseem stand a fair chance to reach a respectable US university. The program would help them with their class XII performance too. The combinative approach they’ll follow will prepare them for the entire ission procedures.
Shiv and Angel are going to prepare on their own for SAT. How they'll handle SAT Subject Tests and AP, even they don't know. They might or might not make it to a university/college in USA. They depend a lot on their destiny...

Reasons for Choosing a University/College in USA More than 600,000 students from around the world choose to study in the United States. Indian students are already the largest group of foreign students studying in USA. The number of Indian students studying in USA are expected to grow at 25% every year. International higher education has increased worldwide by 50%, which reflects both the rapid expansion of higher education around the world and the sustained growth in demand for top quality by international employers.
49
Why a USA University/College? With the globalization of the economy in India and the growing affluence of its large middle class, studying in developed countries like USA, UK, Canada & all European countries has become a very viable option for tens and thousands of Indian Students at the Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral and the Professional Levels. ŸŸ The major reasons cited for this increase are—better quality of education, cultural diversity, building up a cosmopolitan outlook, flexibility and wide range of courses/careers to pick from and, above all, unmatched research and development, and facilities available across all courses in these countries. A large number of well-qualified and financially-able Indian students are interested in opportunities for higher education in USA. Ÿ
Studying abroad can certainly improve your employment prospects. An increased proficiency in English or another major language is just one of the many advantages. Add to that a developing awareness of different cultures, an increase in your own self confidence, an extensive network of new colleagues and your new higher educational qualification, and you'll have the edge that many employers are looking for. The overriding view from employers is that if you have an excellent academic track record, your nationality is no barrier to your future employment. In fact, if you can demonstrate a real ion to work in an international environment, bringing with you the qualification and skills you gained while studying abroad, you will very often be more attractive to employers than others around you.
Ÿ
International graduates are seen as huge assets by international employers in many sectors, from knowledge based industries like consulting and banking to global industries like health care, consumer product and automotive, as well as government—all seeking to establish a globally minded cadre of young s. Many international employers now focus on building relationships with universities and business schools to target the creme-de-la-creme of international graduates. Ways & Means to Fund your US Education Is Financial Assistance/Aid provided by US Universities? Yes, but very limited at undergraduate studies level. Parents should be ready to fund the entire education of their child. •
Financial aid to students in the United States includes i.
scholarships or grants
ii.
loans, which have to be repaid
iii.
jobs, which provide money to help pay college costs.
Financial aid may cover all college costs or only a very small fraction. Jobs require a commitment of a specified number of hours per week; teaching and research assistantships for graduate students require up to 20 hours per week.• Financial assistance offered to international students can be extremely competitive. The amount and type of assistance or scholarship or financial aid offered varies by college, university, department, the level of study and various policies outlined by that particular school. Resources available to individual graduate departments at a university in any given year, depends on the funding received from the federal, state agencies and private institutions, thus altering the prospects of financial assistance. International students may apply for privately sponsored scholarships where the criteria allows, but should be aware that these scholarships have a very early deadline for applications. If you have Internet access, be sure to use the scholarship search on the College Board's website (www.collegeboard.org) to find potential sources of funding. Prospective students should, therefore, read the college or university website carefully before seeking any kind of financial assistance from a US school to avoid disappointment. It is a good idea to investigate sources of financial aid in your own country as well as those in the United States. Keep in mind that the application process for scholarships and other financial aid programs may begin as early as 18 months before your planned date of enrollment.
