TEACHERS DAY MESSAGE BY ERWIN R. DAQUIOAG, PTA PRESIDENT

First of all, I want to take this opportunity to say a special message for everyone, most especially to our dear teachers. This month-long celebration for our teachers started September 5 and will end up on October 5 for the celebration of the World Teachers Days. Anyway, may I take this moment to recognize your presence and for making today’s celebration an event to . To our special guests, the of the Parents Teachers Association, my friends, ladies and gentlemen, my warmest greetings of a very wonderful day. I will not take it very long to say this message I just composed it last night… I am a little bit emotional but thankful that this day has come to pay tribute to our own “old times and modern day heroes” – our teachers and the teachers of our school children. Our dear Principal and our dear teachers, we are here to celebrate with you Teacher’s day to give you our heartily tribute for your hard efforts of making our and nation’s future. We would like to celebrate joy, happiness and enthusiasm with you because with your unending , tireless efforts and unquantifiable dedication, you are making our own children become responsible citizens; you are developing and nurturing them become the ideal children we dreamt to have for the rest of our lives. Teachers teach students very carefully and sincerely just like their own children. Sometimes, it can be well said that teachers are greater than the parents. Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers

shape his/her character and make future bright. Thus, fellow parents never forget and ignore the sacrifices of our teachers. Let us always respect and love them. They let you know the importance of education in your life through their continuous efforts. They are the source of inspiration to you which help you to go ahead and get success. They motivate you towards study by giving examples. They make you so strong and prepare to withstand any obstacle of the life. They become full of immense knowledge and wisdom which nourishes your lives.
