“it is the god-given right of every human being to appear human.” Maxillofacial prosthesis serves as life-changing milestone for patient losing an eye, ear, or nose or sustained damage to intraoral structures. Therefore, Maxillofacial prosthetic materials are expected to be desirable, and attain ideal physical, aesthetic, and biological properties in order to gain patient acceptance. .

Conclusion: To date, none of the commercially available materials satisfy all the requirements of the ideal material. Each

material has its own advantages and disadvantages. Future research should concentrate on two major goals. 1) Improving the properties of materials, so that it will behave more like human tissue. 2) Color-stable coloring agents for coloring facial prosthesis.
