Dedication
T his book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to God, my Almighty Father, for leading, guiding, and forgiving me of all of my sins and mistakes. Thank you for giving me the confidence I needed to write this book, and for teaching me to Love myself and my fellow man. I also dedicate this book to my three children: Shelbert, for being the strong son that he had to be and overcoming the misfortunes and struggles in his life. Thank you for continuing to love, in spite of it all, and for keeping your faith and trust in God. Also to wonderful, loving son, Kendrick and to Kendrick’s mother, Stacy, one of the strongest women who walk this earth. May God continue blessing you, Stacy. And to Katherine (Kat), thank you for the love and joy you have brought into our lives. To Rachel, my daughter, for being the strong person that she has grown to be; for the way she went out into the world and conquered it with love and became a wonderful wife to her great husband, Thomas. Thank you Rachel, for being a beautifully loving mother to your two girls, Aalyah and Aalysa; and for inspiring me to see that you can do all things through Christ whom strengthen us. To my daughter, Casey for being an inspiration to me; and for being a strong, loving, joyful, happy person, and believing in herself and having faith in God. Thank you for being a beautiful, loving wife your wonderful husband, Timothy, and for being a great mother to your two children, Timmy II and Jordan. To my Father and Mother, Genie and Mariah Smith, for being God-fearing people and parents. Thank you for raising me to love, worship, and depend on God and my Savior Jesus Christ, for everything. For my husband, Ronald, for always loving and believing in me; and for loving God. For my sister Patricia, she always strives for the best that Jesus wants us to have. Thank you for encouraging me to write this book.
To my Pastor and his wife, Glen and Elizabeth Levrette for their genuine love and comion for everyone, for being great Bible teachers, and for leading by example. To all my family and friends, may God continue blessing you all in the Name of Jesus and His finish work that was completed on the cross.
May God continue blessing each of you. I love each and every one of you very much.

My Dream
In The Present of His Glory-The Year 1994
A s I hunger and thirst to find my purpose in life; just to get closer to God because I knew I needed him. I knew I needed Jesus finish work on the cross to make it through my life. So I prayed to Him, I praised Him, and I told Him how much I loved and needed Him as I went through my life’s journey with all of its ups and downs. One night when I fell asleep, I had the most wonderful dream. I was a baby crawling on my knees on a dark and foggy road. Being just a baby in the midst of darkness, I was wandering about trying to find my way but I was being drawn toward something. I continue to crawl while noticing I was getting bigger, I was growing. Then I saw a sparkle of bright light far away; it was far in the distance but the light was drawing me in. The closer I got the more I noticed it looked like an opening of some sort that was getting bigger as I continue to crawl near it. It was so beautiful and bright; I began to feel warm and safe. Then everything around me lit up and the light was the most beautiful and prettiest light I had ever seen. At this point I was surrounded by the light. It was a beautiful place with gorgeous white clouds and rays of yellow and white bursting all around the place; such a bright pretty color of yellow. The light had a warmness that made me feel warm and good inside. I had never seen or felt anything like it. As I was crawling, I was growing and getting a little bigger. The light was becoming even more radiant, vividly bright and shining with a glow that made me feel loved, confident, happy, and safe. I saw two men sitting on two big gold beautiful thrones, dressed in beautiful white robes trimmed in a glowing gold lining around their collars and sleeves of the robes. The thrones were so huge and tall reaching up high toward the sky. As I crawled toward the men, I noticed they were looking down to the earth talking about the activities that was going on when suddenly I noticed the men were looking down at me. I immediately felt their love; I felt a sense of safety so I kept crawling toward them. Although I have been growing and getting bigger, I was still a baby. I crawled closer and
saw two sets of huge feet. So I crawled on one of their feet toward the end of the robe. I grabbed the robe with my hands and started climbing up the robe. I continue to grow and get a little bigger as I was crawling up the robe. I climbed over His knees and onward toward his lap. I laid in His lap with the sense of relaxation; freedom from all of my burdens and struggles. I felt so good and it was so peaceful just to lay there. The two men looked at each other and then they looked at me with so much LOVE; I felt LOVED. I felt more LOVE at that moment then I had ever felt in my life. That LOVE is still with me; it sustains me all the time. Then Jesus looked down to the earth and told me to look down as I was laying in His lap. I looked down at what He was pointing and looking at and I noticed He was looking at me as I was going about my daily life activities. And Jesus said to me, “Ann” you rest here with me and I will take care of your life on earth. He told me to cast all my cares and problems on Him and He will take care of everything in my life. He will take care of the good things and the not so good things that may come my way. Ever since I had that celestial dream of entering into Heaven I know for myself that God and His Word is true. He will take care of me. When I am going through any hurt or problems, I just picture myself in Jesus lap. Resting in the arms of Jesus, I say to God and Jesus, go down to my life on earth and take care of this situation. I will just lay here in your lap resting as I cast all my worries and cares on you. As problems arise, I do this so many times and it feels good. I know for myself that God and Jesus is real. I felt such an honor to have been in their presence; A presence that is sealed in me now and forever.
I HAVE BEEN IN THE GLORY OF THE LORD. HALLELUJAH!!! THANK GOD
Introduction
T his sermon is a teaching on how to Love Yourself Before You Destroy Yourself and Miss Your Blessings. The greatest gift you can give yourself is love. It is also the greatest gift you can give to others. When you love yourself, you are more relaxed and content with yourself as well as with others. The greatest gift that God has given to each of us is Jesus Christ, who taught us how to love God, others and ourselves. So receive it, and receive all the benefits that come with it, so you may live the abundant life that Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross, atoned for us to have. In the past, I experienced significant damage due to not loving myself. It almost destroyed me mentally, emotionally, and socially and prevented me from obtaining the abundant life that God intended for me to have. I was told that I had bad nerves, and I should be ashamed of myself. I was fed negative seeds such as; I was not as smart or intelligent as others were, I was not worthy or good enough to succeed; and that I would always struggle in my life. These false statements destroyed many of the blessings that God intended for me to have. I lived in the torment because of the negative things that were said to me. Most of my life I was always hurting and in emotional pain which resulted not only in rejection by others but I rejected myself. I did not know how to accept that Jesus died on the cross for me to have LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GRACE, MERCY and FAVOR. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy us; he knows that there is power in the word. Proverbs 18:21 states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” However, Psalm 139:14 declares, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works and that my soul knoweth right well.” With the word of God and the instincts that He created in me, I felt that I could do better; but so much fear consumed me that I dared not question my informers or go forward in faith. Because of this, I went through life missing many blessings of joy and peace. I did not put forth my best effort and therefore I failed to achieve the more abundant life that I could have lived.
I am writing this book to help others who have gone through similar experiences. I found my way with the help of the word of God. I am stronger now because of the word of God; and I follow His teachings each day. I found the truth and that truth has set me free. I have more peace and contentment each day with continual joy as the days go by. I quote scriptures over my life; I am healed, delivered, and purified by Jesus’ blood; and through the divine power and victory of God. I am claiming everything that they gave to me. God’s Son, Jesus, took away all my shame, anxiety, and nerve problems. I accept the fact that He made me, and everything that He made, “God said: and it is good,” so that means that I am good and you are also good, as long as we believe in Him, have faith in Him, and follow His teachings. God loves all of us the same. He does not play favorites: “For there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:11). His Love, Grace, and Mercy are the same for each of us. He also showers us all with the same capacity to love others and ourselves. So do not lose out on your precious life. Stand on, and receive, every word and every covenant that God has for you. And this:
LOVE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU DESTROY YOURSELF AND MISS YOUR BLESSINGS.
John 4:8, “He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is Love.” Love yourself. Yes, for it is dangerous not to love yourself. It is dangerous to you, and it is dangerous to others. If you do not love yourself, you will always be sad and negative. You will always be down, upset, paranoid, and feel like an outcast. When you do not love yourself, you will find that you are always in the back and never in the front. You will be afraid to come forward to the right place, or position, to receive many of the blessings, gifts, and opportunities that God has for you. God has many blessings for you. However, if you are not in the right attitude of self-love; or if you have a negative mindset, it will be hard for the positive love of God to shine through you. The promises of God cannot draw close to a negative mind. this: God is not pleased with you if you do not love yourself, because He is love and you are made in His image. The opposite of
love is hate. So if you do not love yourself, then deep inside of you, without even realizing it, you have hate for yourself and God is not pleased with it. That bit of hate can put your life in jeopardy, by blocking God’s blessings from coming to you. God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on an old rugged cross. God has an agape (unconditional) love for you, and you should have that great love for yourself also.
How can you create SELF-LOVE in YOURSELF?
First: You have to look back into your life, and find out what makes you feel the way you do about yourself. Whatever it is, you need to take it to God in prayer, mediate day and night, read the bible (scriptures), and study it as much as you can. Reading the scriptures, which is the living word of God, will lead you right out of those destructive thoughts and feelings, that have you distressed and are holding you back from achieving your dreams and goals in life. Study the scriptures by researching what you do not understand, and then ask God for wisdom as you mediate on what you learn. Then, let go and let God fill your heart with peace, contentment, and LOVE. The bible is alive. It is the living word of God. It is the breath of God. It is full of life. If you have unforgiveness in your heart for anyone, you must forgive them. You have to forgive before you can go on. Pray to God, and ask Him to heal you from unforgiveness and rejoice around whoever has hurt you. Love them and BE HAPPY. We will start with some of the beginning scriptures that God said to you in His word to let you know that He loves you; and so that you can love yourself.
God said, You shalt be the head, and not the tail. You shalt be the lender, and not the borrower.
Read Deuteronomy 28:1-14, “And it shall come to , if thou shalt hearken
diligently unto the God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. 2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3. Bless shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4. Blesses shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5. Blessed shall be thy basket, and thy store. 6. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 7. The Lord shall cause thine enemies that raise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8. The Lord shall command the bleson you thee in thy store house, and all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 9. The Lord shall establish thee on holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. 10. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12. The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasures, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the works of thy hands: and thou shall lend unto many nations, and thou shall not borrow. 13. And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail; and thou be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them. 14. And thou shall not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other Gods to serve them.”
If you don’t love yourself enough to live by these commandments, you will destroy your blessings.
Also Read: Deuteronomy 28:15-68.
Jeremiah 17:7 Psalm 91:2 Psalm 23 Psalm 27 Psalm 103
So Love yourself, because God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God gave His son for you so believe in Him. God did that for you, so believe in yourself also. Read 1 John 4:7-8, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is Love.”
So we should love everyone, and everything that is of God; that includes yourself.
Second: You have to speak loving words over yourself, opening your month, working your tongue, speaking loud and clear, and edifying yourself. If you love God, then you will love yourself. If you have no true and living God in you, then you have no true and living love in you… no God, no love. So therefore, “KNOW GOD” and KNOW LOVE. Love is the most important thing to have. Nothing can fulfill our happiness the way love can. Many people with strong opinions are unwilling to listen to, and learn from, God and others. We can obtain God’s knowledge by loving Him. We can know, and be known by God, only when we model ourselves by showing love. Showing love for God first, and showing Godly love toward others and yourself, you will receive peace, joy and contentment. By showing, and giving Godly love to
others, you are giving love to yourself. Then you will become stronger, more confident; and increase your self-worth. Read Ephesians 5:2, “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us as offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.” You are so important to Christ, that He gave Himself up as an offering, and He sacrificed himself for you, to save you from the pain you have felt, thinking and feeling that you are not loved, which manifested in you a rejected and unwanted feeling. But Christ Jesus loves you, so you should love yourself just as Jesus loves you. Then you can walk in love with Him and He will be there holding you, walking with you, and talking with and to you. He will be there for you all the way, through everything in your life, because He will never leave you or forsake you. , God loves you, so love yourself. God made you and He did not make any mistakes. Everything that God does is perfect and good. Therefore, you are perfect and good. So love yourself, no matter what negative and bad things were said or done to you; you do not have to believe them anymore. You can cast them into the sea of forgetfulness. You have to root out those negative thoughts and feelings from within you and start loving yourself.
Third: Focus on yourself; you are made in the image of God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” So follow Jesus’ standards and ways. Follow the teachings of Jesus, and then you will learn to love yourself. Follow the commandments of God and Jesus. Read and study the Word of God, in the name of Jesus. Believe, trust and have faith in what the Word of God says. Then you have to take your faith and it to God’s Word and stand on it with all your heart, soul, and spirit, and God will bless you, to have a happy, abundant, and peaceful life. When I was growing up, I was always told that I could not do a lot of things that my heart, and mind, was telling me to do. I gave up on a lot of my dreams and desires, because of negative talk. People would say, “Ann, you can’t, you can’t, and you can’t.” After I started getting closer to God and studying His Word, such as; “I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.” I realized that I could have accomplished many things in life. I felt as if I was robbed of a lot of
happiness and success. If I had known the Word more strongly, I would have accomplished more of what my heart and mind was telling me to do. I would not have destroyed many of my blessings, because I would have LOVED MYSELF. By loving myself, I would have believed, trusted, and had the faith to accomplish the purpose, and goals that my life was supposed to have. But, But, But, “Hallelujah!” God is good!!! He heard my cry and my prayers. I thank Him every day for taking me through my past to my present, and I know that He will carry me through the rest of my life, with His love, grace, and mercy. I know that all I have to do is just have faith and believe in His Word. Then I have to Love God for what He has created me to be, knowing that His Love is in me and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can now hold my head up high and succeed in life. I can press toward the mark of my calling in life, with boldness and LOVE. Jesus went into the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, and fasted and prayed. Jesus did it though He was already clean. We should let that be an example to us —to do as Jesus did. A way to cleanse ourselves of the hurt and unrighteous things that have been said and done to us, is to fast and pray. Plant the seed of Love into yourself, by repeating over and over again, these words: I LOVE ME! I LOVE ME!! I LOVE ME!!! I LOVE MYSELF!!! As you plant that seed into yourself, LOVE YOURSELF. Water that Love seed into yourself by speaking it into your life. As you water those Love confessions into yourself, and into your life, you will be planting, and watering into your life the faith, confidence, courage, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge you need to be strong. You will be able to go through your ordeals without fear, knowing that within yourself, you can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens you. And the CHRIST LOVE that you have in you will carry you through any and everything that you need to go through in life. Speaking Love over yourself will make you stronger and happier. Then you will feel better about yourself, and your life. This is your life, so love yourself. For the Lord said in John 7:37-38. “37. In the last days, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying ‘If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.’” So, if you are thirsty for loving, plant the seed of love into yourself by going to the word of God, as stated in John 3:37. Verse 38 said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” As you believe in Jesus; as the scripture hath said, therefore out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. And out of loving yourself, you will flow with the living waters, which is the Word of God for you. By knowing the
love that Jesus has for you, and the blessings that He has for you, you can freely love yourself. Speak over yourself, because there is power in your words. that you are made in the image of God. God has power in His tongue, and in His Word. Right from the very beginning of time, God spoke everything into existence READ CHAPTER ONE of the first book in the Bible, which is GENESIS. Most of the verses tell us how God said what He wanted to do, and by speaking everything out of His mouth, everything that He said came into being. Therefore, we have the power, which God has given us, to have faith, and believe in His Word to have what we want in our lives too. Genesis 1:3, “And God said, let there be light and there was light.” Genesis 1:6, “And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Genesis 1:9, “And God said let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” Genesis 1:11, “And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit, after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” Genesis 1:14, “And God said, Let there be light in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night: and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years.” The Fifth Day: Genesis 1:20, “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creatures that hath life, and fowl that fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” The Sixth Day: Genesis 1:24, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Hallelujah!!! Praise God!!! We are still in the sixth day. And we are the greatest of all of Gods Creations that he spoke into being with His Words. GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the earth, and image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:29, “And God said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:30, “And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.” Genesis 1:31, “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” I want you to read and insert the 1st Chapter of Genesis in your heart, mind, and soul. God spoke everything that He wanted to do in the world and He did it. Just as you are made in His image, as the 26th verse says, Your words and what “You Speak” can control your life “Good” or bad, “Happy” or sad. You are in control of your own journey, and adventure in life. You are in control of your own attitude, and travels in your life. You can speak negative or positive words over yourself, and your life. So “Love yourself” and speak powerful, wonderful words into your life like God did, in the book of Genesis. You will then be able to say, just like God said, “And it was good”. God spoke the world into existence, so just think, you are made in His image, so you have the power, to believe and speak positive and wonderful things into your life. God has given you the power, to speak “Life or death” into your life, “abundant life or a struggling life.” Let everything that you say line up with the Word of God. As long as it lines up with the Word of God, you can say what your heart desires. Ask God to lead and guide you. And LOVE YOURSELF, BEFORE YOU DESTROY YOURSELF, AND MISS YOUR BLESSINGS. So don’t listen to people when they tell you that you can’t because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He has given you dominion over your life. Use that authority that He has given to you to believe in yourself and to love yourself. Know that you have the authority that Jesus died on the cross for you to have. On the cross, Jesus saved you so that you would not be ashamed of yourself. On the cross, Jesus redeemed you from all hurt and abuse. On the cross, Jesus atoned and restored you. On the cross Jesus’ Blood saved you. On the cross, Jesus’ stripes healed you. He did all of this for you; so LOVE YOURSELF so that you can enjoy all of these blessings. Read I Corinthians 3:16-17, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17: If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is Holy, which temple ye are.” You are the temple of God, so LOVE YOURSELF, so that you won’t be destroyed.
Walk and talk in His LOVE. Read Corinthians2:7, “But we speak the wisdom of God in mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.” So Love Yourself, because you have the wisdom of the mystery of God, you even have the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world onto your glory. Love yourself, because you are the Glory of God. Read Galatians 6:17-18, “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of our LORD JESUS. 18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.” So Love yourself because in your body you bear the mark of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!!! Praise The Lord!!! That is awesome. Read Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that work in us. 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” So LOVE YOURSELF, because you have the power of God, working in you to do exceeding, and abundant things above all that you can ask or think. Read Ephesians 2:4, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great LOVE wherewith he loved us.” So LOVE YOURSELF, because if God’s rich LOVE so greatly LOVED us, we can SO GREATLY LOVE OURSELVES.
Chapter 1 Love
L ove yourself; then you can find your purpose in life. You will find the great talents that God created for you to have. The purposes and talents that He created just for you! God will lead you to your purpose, and talents. Stay close to God; seek Him early in the morning. Continue to study His Word. Continue to pray and he will lead you to your purpose, and talents. God will give you the strength, and knowledge to have the faith you need. But it’s up to you to LOVE YOURSELF. Through God’s Word, He will show you how strong you are. And you will be able to see what He has, already planted in you. God will show you the way to go. God will make you feel good about yourself. God will instill in you how to talk. He will transform your mind, and implant in you how to think and be positive, and confident. God will instill in your mind, the right way to feel at all times. God will instill in you, how to never waver, and never doubt, when you lean and depend on him. Read James 1:5-9, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. 9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted.” So if you lack wisdom on how to feel good about your-self and love your, ask God to give you all the essences of love that you need, ask Him in faith and don’t waver, and don’ be double minded, doubting that He can do it, because in the 9 th verse, didn’t He say; Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted. Amen!!! Hallelujah!!! Praise The Lord!!! Read All of Proverbs 3rd Chapter. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Therefore trust in the Lord with all your Heart, and LOVE YOURSELF. The Lord will root out the fear, that’s destroying you from excelling in your life. He will instill in you, and show you how to have a better life. He will heal your mind with good, loving, happy thoughts. His Word will put you on a higher level of thinking. And that higher level of LOVE
THINKING will let you know how precious, and important you are. Know JESUS!! Know LOVE!!! JESUS IS LOVE. Jesus suffered, and died for you, because he love you. So LOVE YOURSELF TOO. And as you grow in Love, glorify yourself in the spirit of God and you will be over whelmed with the good feeling of LOVE. Your life is like a cake; if you leave out some of the ingredients, “such as the eggs, or the butter” the cake will not come out right. So we have to put the right Substances Ingredients into ourselves.
Substances Ingredients that we need to Love ourselves As you grow to Love Yourself, you will plant these positive substances in yourself, and in your life:
1. Plant the substance of a Positive state of strong self-worth. 2. Plant Faith into yourself and to root out fear, wavering and doubt. 3. Plant in Forgiveness and you root out unforgiveness. So forgive, and forget the hurt. Loving yourself has the power to do that. 4. Plant into yourself the substances of Confidence, and you will root out shame. “,” cast not away your confidences for it has great reward. 5. Plant the substance of a High Self-Esteem. And you will root out low selfesteem, then you will think and feel good about yourself. 6. Plant the substances of Self-Control and you will root out unstable behaviors and uncontrollable, troubled emotions. 7. Plant the substance of Security and you will root out of yourself the miseries of feeling unworthy, and insecurity. 8. It will be easier to do the right things in life. 12. Ask God for Wisdom to carry you through everything that you need to go through in your life because without wisdom, it is difficult to know how to live a successful, secure, happy, content life, and you will root out unstable decisions and the lack of knowing how to achieve your goals. 13. As you Love yourself, you will begin to Believe in yourself and the good qualities that are in you. Many people don’t realize what the power of believing in yourself can do. You will receive many of your desires and miracles by only BELIEVING. John 20:29, “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” So you get your blessings more effectively to you, when you just “Believe”. You get your prayers answered when you just believe. OH THE
POWER OF JUST BELIEVING. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU ONLY BELIEVE!!! 19. Study and learn the importance of Prosperity and how to be a good steward with your money and finances. Know how to manage your money and responsibilities, so you won’t have a lot of sleepless nights, and worrisome days. 20. As you realize that you are the righteousness of God, and you have His Love, Grace, and Mercy. Ask God for his Favor. And continue to live a Christian, God Loving life; by receiving all of His wonderful abundant gifts.
After you nourish yourself with all of these substances, you will feel good about yourself; and you will be more happier and contend with yourself, you will find yourself loving others, and respecting others, and understanding others like you should; in a loving Godly way. You will learn to appreciate your fellowman, and love ones in a more loving considerate manner. You should not be, and will not be selfish with your love for others. You will want to share with other people; their happiness, and success. You will be hungry and excited to serve other people in what even way you can to help them to accomplish their goals in life. When Jesus told His Disciples to pray THE LORD’S PRAYER He inform that they pray for everyone. It plainly says: OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. AND FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL: FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY, FOR EVER. AMEM. Matthews 6:9-13 OUR, US, WE, include you and everyone else, God want us to pray for ourselves as well as our fellowman. That’s why He say; OUR FATHER, which art in Heaven, He want us to pray for and love ourselves, and everyone else. So as we nourish ourselves with Love, and understanding for ourselves, let’s not forget to love our fellowman also.
Chapter 2 Faith
F aith is confidence in God. To birth anything into yourself and your life, you have to have faith. Read Hebrews 11:1-40. The Superiority of the Faith Way: 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For it the elders obtained a good report. 3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things no seen yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed things to; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac an d Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him F aithful who had promised. 12. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by sea shore innumerable. 13. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14. For they say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16. But by now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not
ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. 17. By faith Abraham , when he was tried, offered up Isaac : and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. 18. Of whom it was said, that in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19. ing that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from whence also he received him in a figure. 20. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21. By faith Jacob when he a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, learning upon the top of his staff. 22. By faith Joseph , when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. 23. By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the King’s commandment. 24. By faith Moses when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures in sin for a season; 26. Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. 27. By faith he for forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured. As seeing him who is invisible. 28. Through faith he kept the over, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29. By faith they ed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were comed about seven days. 31. By faith the harlot Rah ab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. 32. And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephth ae; of David also, and S amuel, and of the prophets : 33. Who through faith-subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the months of lions. 34. Quenched the violence of fires, escaped the edge of the sword, and out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to fight the armies of the aliens. 35. Woman received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36. And others had trial of cruel mocking and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment. 37. They were stoned, they were sawed asunder, were tempted, and were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheep skins and goats skins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38. (Of whom the world was not worthy) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth, 39. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith received not the promise. 40. God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Let us keep Our Faith, and follow JESUS as our example; because Hebrews 12:1-2 says;
Therefore seeing we also are comed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, an let us run with patience the race that is set before us. 2. looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus had to go through a lot, but He kept His Faith. Let Jesus be a role model to you, keep your Faith, believe, and trust Him. And what ever happen, except it, and go on with your life; knowing that all things worketh out for the good, for those that Love the Lord. And have the satisfaction of knowing that He will do what’s best for you. Just like he did what was best for all those people that was named in The 11 th Chapter of Hebrews. He will do what’s best for you also. Faith-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. For a long time, in my teens, and 20ings, I pondered over that verse, trying to understand the meaning of it. I came to know and deeply learn that if I wanted something, or really needed something, that I had to have the faith that I would receive it. I learned that the only way that I was going to get the substance that I hoped for was to have faith, but how could I have faith? Where did that faith come from? I had to pray, and I had to search into my mind, and heart. I had to learn, that in order to receive the faith that I need, first of all I had to get a closer walk with Jesus. And to know what he did for me on the Calvary’s Cross. I had to study and learn more about God’s Word. About how it related to me, and about what His Word can do for me. The Lord, want us to study to show ourselves approval in every good works. So we have to study His Word, and get to know Him, and we have to have a strong bold, personal relationship with God. The best way to get to know God, is coming to Him through His Son Jesus Christ, because of His Son Jesus, and what He did on the cross, and because of the crown of thrones that was pressed into His head, and because of the strips that was lashed on His body, and because of the blood that He shed for us; all of that gave us the rights, to come to God and ask Him for our rightly own blessings, and to have Faith that we will receive them, and if we ask Him for the desires of our hearts that he will answer our request; if it’s according to His will for our life. For the word say if we ask anything in Jesus Name, and have the Faith as small as a mustard seed that we shall receive it. As long as it is in God’s will he will answer our petition. As long as we stay in the righteousness of God, He will give us favor. As long as it is in His will, and he feel that it is good for us, and that it will not harm us, He will give us the desires of Our Heart. all we need is the Faith, that is as small as a mustard seed; I
believe that God will be over joyed with that mustard seed Faith (because He said so). And he will go to our needs, and supply them. He may not come right when you call Him, but He will be right on time. Trust Him, He Knows best. We also have to build up ourselves through reading the Bible, and praying every day, doing that we will become closer, and closer to God. As you do that, you will find yourself connecting with God stronger and stronger. And you will find yourself being hungry for God and His Word. And you will find yourself thirsty for His Word. And you will find yourself hungry and thirsty for the Love of God. Then you will begin to lean on Him more and more. Then you will begin to trust Him more and more. Then you will begin to turn all your worriers, and problems, and troubles, over to Him. And you will start getting stronger and stronger; receiving the Faith that let you know without a shadow of a doubt, that in the name of Jesus, your every prayer, and desire will be answered. Know that your needs will be met if you just, only keep the FATIH. The key is to have: THAT BELIEVING FAITH AND THAT TRUSTING FAITH IN GOD. And it is so important that you have Faith in yourself. Believe in yourself; Trust in yourself. And Love Yourself. Meditate on God, day and night. And after you get a closer connection with God, you will have the knowledge in your heart, feelings, and mind on how to receive Faith, and you will understand how it can work for you, as well as everyone else. You will receive the substance of Faith that will absorb into you, and give you the reassurance that you need to be confident in God, and His Word. Faith in God, and Yourself will heal you of any negative feelings, and thoughts that you may have, carrier around. Pray to God and ask Him to root out hurts, and negative feeling, and ask Him to make you do everything you have to do, to have the faith that will deliver you into a joyful, contended life. With faith you can freely feel love from God, and you can freely LOVE YOURSELF. By having faith in loving yourself you can, gain the love that you may have struggled for to have for yourself in the past. My Grandfather: Rev. Harry Minor, would always sing a wonderful song about faith. The title of the song was: FAITH IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN AND PRAYER UNLOCK THE DOOR. So learn how to except, and use the faith that God has given to you. that nothing is too hard for God. Read Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. This is the promise of God. So you can have faith in Him and receive His promises. So love yourself with all of your heart, then receive your substances of faith, and the evidence from another one of His Bible Verses which
say in: John 15:5 Jesus say; I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Therefore when you abide in the Word of God, and learn that His Son Jesus came to save you, and that He love you, then you can have the power to receive the abiding faith of God. And believe in the evidence of just having that faith that you could not see from the beginning of your life. When you were feed a lot of negative things and words that tried to destroy you, but you can see now that God has all power, and God, He has control over every situation, in our life. So when you hope for something, which is your substances, God has the power to go into action; through you just having faith, and believing that he will deliver, whatever substances that you are hoping for. Praying without ceasing every day. Pray with faith, and your confidents in God will manifest, and bring your substance into a reality. And the evidence is the power of Jesus and God carrying out whatever you want and need. So just have faith in Jesus and God, and in their Word, and see them work for you. Your faith of believing, and trusting, and having confidents in Jesus finish work for you will take care of every one of your wants, needs, and desires. Read II Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So we has to trust and believe with Faith, We cannot have a spirit of fear. Faith must be seen; you have to show faith, that’s what make faith work, because faith without work is dead. And it is impossible to please God without faith. The evidence of faith is a source of supernatural power that will manifest a desire into a reality. Our faith becomes affective; when we acknowledge the good things in our life. God is pleased with us when we feel good about ourselves and when we trust and believe in Him. God is pleased with us when we love ourselves; because that tells Him that we have enough faith in Him and what He is doing, because God didn’t make no mistakes. God didn’t make any junk; “Hello” we are not junk. Let us, let God know that we love Him, and that we trust, and believe in Him. We have faith in Him knowing that He created us in a great and wonderful way; that let Him know that we believe in Him, that let Him know that we trust Him, that Him know that we have faith in Him. When you love yourself that let God know that you have faith in him to never leave you, or forsake you. When you love yourself that let God that you have the faith in Him to answer your prayers, in your best interest, and whatever we send out to God in pray it will come back to us through our faith. Read James 2:17, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18. Yea, a man says, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith, without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest
well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead.” So put work into your faith; so put action into your faith”. Faith must be seen; that’s what works mean; so add works into your faith, because it’s impossible to please God without Faith. Sow seeds of Faith and reap your harvest; by believing, and trusting, in God.
Chapter 3 Forgiveness
F orgiveness is a wonderful thing; you have to forgive whatever it is that’s making you feel unloved. That’s the only way that you are going to feel better about yourself. You have to pray for forgiveness. You will not have love for yourself, and others until you forgive. Forgiving is a cleaning power, that clean, and HEAL, the mind, soul, heart, and spirit; from a lot of unkind things, and from a lot of bad words, that has been said to you in your life; that have hurt you, and are holding you back, from going forward; toward your full potentials, and purpose, that you were created to become. Forgiving will take you to a whole new frame of mind. Forgiving will make you feel good about yourself; and the people around you; “Family , and Friends”, and other people, and things”, that you may have been avoiding, that you really want to be close to; and that you truly want to be happily acquainted with. We have to forgive, just like “Jesus” forgave. For when he was hung on the cross, He said: Read St. Luke 23:34 “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Forgiveness will put: Joy and Happiness in You. Most of all, “Forgiveness” will put LOVE in You. And all we need Love!!! So Forgive. So that you can go on with your life, free from the bondage of hurt, that will make you feel unworthy, sad, and unhappy. Forgive so that you can have a more Joyful, Happy life. Forgive so that you can LOVE again. We have to forgive others like Jesus forgave us. Read Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Jesus love us so much that He redeemed us with His blood. We have to forgive like Joseph forgave his brothers when they conspired against him. Read Genesis 37:18-20, “And when they saw him afar off even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. 19. And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. 20. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into the pit, (when someone cast you into a pit, forgive them). And we will say a evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. See how Joseph brothers put him in a pit, and then sold him to the Ishmaelites.”
When your family, or anyone else talk bad to you, and treat you bad, and you feel like you are in a pit; Joseph’s story, about how his brothers put him down in a pit; and how the life God had for Joseph was not destroyed. God saved Joseph, and God will save you too. I’m quite sure that Joseph was very, very hurt about what his family had done to him, and he went through a lot of struggles, but God was on his side; and God delivered him from a lot of problems that he had when he was sold. So when you feel like your life is sold out; by things that people have said about you, and things that people have done to you, don’t fret, be strong, trust in God; and Jesus finish work, that was done on the cross. He’s there with you, He’ll take care of you; He’ll take care of the path that’s ahead of you. All you have to do is forgive, and He will, make everything alright. He will give you deliverance, peace, and joy, in every situation. Read Chapter 45 of Genesis. God blessed Joseph, greatly for forgiving the ones that betrayed him. Everyone wants to be forgiven; and everyone needs to forgive. God tells us in THE LORD’S PRAYER that we need to forgive. Matthew 6:12, “And FORGIVE US OUR debts, as WE FORGIVE OUR debtors.” Matthews 6:13, God wants us to be delivered from all temptations, and He want to deliver us from all evil. So let’s forgive each other so that we will not be tempted and so that we will be delivered from all evil. Matthews 6:14-15, “For if ye forgive men their treses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15. But if ye forgive not men their treses, neither will your Father forgive your treses.” So Forgive, Forgive, Forgive. When you forgive; you will also be healthier. It will avoid a lot a sickness. When you forgive; you will prosper more freely in your life. So have enough Love to forgive, because God will make your life richer, and happier, when you forgive with Love. Colossians 3:13-14, “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” Our minds feel bad when we have to handle evil bitter hurtful gossip. And if we TALK about hurtful situations that have happen in our lives to anyone other than God, or a spiritual counsel “it can damage us even more”. Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” It can even poison and damage, and destroy the relationship between you and the person that you are confining in. James 3:5, “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth.” Don’t get so offended when people say
something to you that you don’t like. Don’t give them the power of controlling your emotions, by taking them so serious, and getting yourself upset. We need to forgive each other, because that helps us to survive; that help us to be strong. A wonderful song was written, and song by: A great singer; Hezekiah Walker. Which is titled, I need you to Survive.
I NEED YOU TO SURVIVE
I need you, you need me. We’re all a part of God’s body. Stand with me, agree with me. We’re all a part of God’s body. It is his will, that every need be supplied. You are important to me, I need you to survive. You are important to me, I need you to survive. I pray for you, you pray for me.
So let’s FORGIVE each other, and LOVE each other and SURVIVE.
Chapter 4 Confidence
H ebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. It is highly important that you have confidence. It is one of the most powerful tool that people need to make it in their life. If you don’t have confidence you will feel lost, and confused, you will feel bewildered, and complex. The lack of confidence will destroy your faith, so it is very important to have confidence in yourself. Loving yourself will truly put confidence in you. Everyone needs confidence for everything that they do. We need confidence every day, 24 hours a day, every single minute. We need confidence when we get up, in the morning and start our day. We need to pray to God to protect us, and lead us along our way. And God will guide us, and give us the confidence to perform all our duties; “with confidence”. We need to talk with confidence; we need to walk with confidence. Ask God to give you wisdom, and knowledge, to make important, and vital decisions that you need to make. It’s very important that you learn, and know how to be Self-Reliance ; “which mean, to think for yourself with confidence; standing firm on what you believe in”. Be strong in what your mind lead you to do. As long as it is right; don’t let negative people or negative situations stray you away from what your heart want you to do. There are so many things in life that you need confidence for. These are some of the examples; starting from when you were at an early age; from the time you were born. As a young baby you cried for someone to feed you. You had to have confidence that someone would feed you. You have to have confidence, that someone would and someone did. God put that confidence in you at an early age. He sealed it in you; And He ask you to not cast it away; for it has great rewards. As you started to craw, you had to have confidence; and as you grow you had to have confidence to walk; that’s great, you did not cast away your confidence. When you went to school, you had to have confidence, to learn; cast not away that confidence. When you played with the other children on the playground, you had to have confidence, cast not away that confidence. God gave you that confidence, believe in it, hold on to it, keep it, chair’s it, use it; with boldness, and love it with all your heart. When you grow up a little more in life, and became a teenager, and went out into the world on your own without
your parents, and elementary school teachers to lead you, and guide you, and tell you what to do, you have to have confidence, to make your own decisions. As you grow into an adult, and went out into the work field, you have to have confidence. You have to have confidence to past your job interviews. If you want to pursue a job promotion you have to have confidence to apply for the promotions. Do not cast away your confidence for your career. If you have the proper equipment, within yourself; which include education, and the proper training, stride for whatever your heart desire. But cast not away you confidence, because it have great rewards for you. Believe in whatever you want, and receive it. When or if you get married, you need confidence to be a good trusting, and loving spouse. And if have children you need confidence to raise them; and give them the correct teaching. And you have to have confidence to give them the unconditional love, and that they need. So LOVE YOURSELF enough to have confidence in yourself. You have to have confidence to reach your goals, and dreams, and potential. If you don’t have confidence your dreams and desires will be very hard to come by, because you will be afraid, and you will hesitant to expand your mind, and thoughts, and heart to accomplish them. Don’t let fear stop you, by taking away your victory. So cast not away your confidence for it has great rewards. God has great rewards for you if you just keep your confidence. God will give you your great rewards, if you just keep your confidence, and apply it. You were born with confidence. Everyone was born with confidence, no one was left out. God want everyone to have an abundant life. God gave every one of us confidence. Don’t let false, and negative words from people, and environments distract you; and stop you from getting your blessings, and rewards, and needs, and desires, that you deserve. So have confidence, to love yourself enough to be brave enough to step up; and strive, and go forward, with courage, and perseverance, to reach your dreams, and potential, and goals. Love yourself enough to trust what God say, he do not lie. It is so vital to you, and so important to you, and your life, that you don’t lose your rewards in life. God want his love for you; and your love for yourself; to have confidence in yourself, so that you can receive his promises, so with love, faith, and confidence, you will have a happier life. Jesus has already shed his blood on the cross to bless you, and he has given you salvation to have confidence. Jesus has already given you all the confidence you needed when he hung his head, and said it is finish. JESUS has already delivered you. So go ahead and receive your confidence, and exercise it, and express it, you have it “don’t cast it away,” and destroy your rewards. As long as it is right,
and clean, and as long as it is in the will of God; have confidence in what your mine, and heart tell you to do. Have confidence in your concisions, and thoughts, and what they tell you to do, as long as it’s in the will of God, you’ll be safe and securer, and you’ll get the victory, in everything that you do; because you have the flesh of Jesus in you. Read Galatians 6:17, “From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” So when you have opportunities to excel in life, have confidence in yourself to take on that task, that’s before you. And love yourself enough to step up in the world, and carry out the mission that’s before you, no matter how big or small. Face whatever it is that you want to do with LOVE, FAITH, BELIEVETH, AND CONFIDENCE. And God will give you the power, and strength that you need, to success in what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Phil. 4:13, “You can do all things through Christ whom strengthens you.” Continue to pray; read your bible, and study it; it is the living word of God, that will help give you the confidence that you need, and it will guide you, and teach you, to obtain the success, and goals that your heart desirer; it will also give you the “Great Rewards” that God want you to have. Before you attempt to face any decisions, or problems in life; pray to the Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus. Pray to the Father, pray to the Son, pray to the Holy Spirit. Pray to Jesus your savior, and your deliverer; take your life to Jesus, and pray for his blood of protection over you, and everything that you do.
Talk with Confidence, Walk with Confidence, LOVE with Confidence.
God has crowned you with greatest; so love yourself, and carry yourself, according to the word of God. When you “Think Confidence”, and “Talk Confidence” people will respect you, and they will see how strong you are, and they will give you favor. When you are confidence people will believe in you; and they will trust you; with “Great Rewards”. There’s a movie called: The Sound of Music that has a wonderful blessed song, that was sung, about confidence that have helped me in my life; that Judy
Andrews sung; (which she played Fraulein Maria). The movie came out in the late 1960’s; it was a very popular movie, it was loved by many people. The movie was about Fraulein Maria; she was a Nun that was assign to be the governess to seven children. If you have not seen the movie, I recommend that you get the movie, and watch it. Here's the words to the song that Fraulein Maria sung when she was on her way to go to be the governess of the seven children that she was assign to live with, and take care of; she had never done anything like this before, therefore she was trying to the get confidence that she needed.
“I Have Confidence”
What will this day be like? I wonder. What will my future be? I wonder. It could be so exciting to be out in the world to be free. My heart should be wildly rejoicing, oh what’s the matter with me?
That’s a great song that will help you with your confidence. If you haven’t seen the movie; Please get it. I believe that you will like it. At the end of the movie; (which is a true story) Fraulein Maria, did get a great reward for not casting away her confidence. So whatever you do, put your trust in the Lord, and ever thing will be alright. And have the Love of confidence in yourself, because without confidence you can destroy a lot of good blessing.
Read Psalms 118:6, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
Read Psalms 118:8, “it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.”
So Trust in God with Confidence and Love.
Chapter 5 Self-Esteem
S elf-Esteem is confidence and satisfaction in oneself. Read Galatians 6:17, “From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus.” If you have low self-esteem; you do not have to go through life any more, feeling that way. You are smarter than you think you are. You are stronger than you think you are. Self-esteem is essential for psychological survival, success and happiness. If you don’t have a high self-esteem, you can create a low selfworth in you that can bring on emotional problems, and enormous pain in your ability to maintain a healthy, and productive life. Self-esteem is the capacity for judgment. And you need the capacity to judge for yourself. Having a low selfesteem is rejecting part of yourself, which can greatly damage the psychological structures that literally keep you alive. Judging yourself, and rejecting yourself causes enormous pain. You don’t want to get hurt, or be rejected; so you avoid any thing that may causes you pain. Do not miss out on many of the blessings that Jesus was sledded on the cross for you to have. You may miss out on family, and friend’s gatherings, and social events. You may not get the job that you want, if your self-esteem in too low; or if you don’t have any self-esteem at all. You may not get the career opportunities that your heart desire; that will make you happier, and more successful. Job interviews are harder to when you have a low self-esteem; or when you don’t have any self-esteem at all. You limit yourself from many of your blessings, and you destroy a lot of great pleasure, and goals that you can have in life. Read I Thessalonians 5:13, “And esteem yourself very highly in love for their work’s sake.” And be at peace among yourself. When you don’t have selfesteem you limit yourself to the best that life has to offer you; and therefore destroying the blessing that you could have received. You may miss out on a wonderful loving life with the soul mate that was put on this earth just for you; which may cause you to spend life alone, or you may end up with a person that is not supposed to be your soul mate and spend most of your life unhappy. You don’t want to spend your life trying to adjust to someone that you are not equally yoked with, which will make your life miserable and uncomfortable. Think
about it, that wouldn’t be good. Love yourself, because it help you to make better decisions. Read John 4:4 ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Some people that have low self-esteem bury themselves in angry, or work that they don’t like, or jobs that they don’t like; thinking that they cannot do any better. They depend on alcohol or drugs. They make all kinds of excuses, to live a Forney, hypocritical life; which damage them psychological, and emotionally. But God want you to have all the blessings that He intended for you to have. When you come to God, in Jesus Name, and follow Him, He will show you how to build up your self-esteem, through the knowledge of his word, and through his Holy Spirit, and through all the power that Jesus has already given to you; through His redemption on the cross for you, and through His atonement on the cross for, you and through His salvation on the cross for you. Read Isaiah 26: 3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee. 4. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord is everlasting strength. Your self-esteem will be strong, when you keep your mind on the Lord. You will have the everlasting strength that you need. You have to stop the destructive judgment about yourself. It doesn’t matter who say negative, bad things to you, you have to stop believing them. You have to heal those negative hurts, and wounds. You have to stop rejecting yourself. You can change the way you feel about yourself. You can change the negative feelings of low self-esteem, through the word of God, and pray. When those feelings change, you will have a great; and wonderful sense of freedom, and contentment of self-esteem. The life you were born into does affect you. Whether you come from property, or whether you were born in riches with a silver spoon in your mouth; whatever circumstances a person was born into can affect them. Studies show that young children during the first three, or four years determines the physical intellect of self-esteem that a child developers in their life. In teenagers, or adolescents, per-pressure weight in on a lot of their self-esteem. That’s why you need to be self-reliance, and having the confidence in excising one’s own power, and judgment; and staying satisfied with your own thoughts, and decisions. Your future circumstances depend on you, and how you handle your decision making. So instill strong, unfearful, self-esteem in yourself, so that you can have the abundant life that God created for you to have. Feed off of the words of God, so that you will avoid the sickness, and humiliation that low-selfesteem could create in you, which bring on anxiety attracts, and depressions; and
eating disorders, and bad relationships with people, and poor social activities, in your life. Low self-esteem can rob a person, out of a lot of their great rewards, and happiness. Low self-esteem can put a person at a disadvantage of accomplishing the desires, and goals that they want to achieve in life. So exercise high LOVING SELF-ESTEEM in yourself. And God will bless you tremendously. that you are made in his image. So be like Him: Read St. Luke 10-19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Read Genesis 1:26-27, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over the all the earth, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. So that tells us that we should have high self-esteem. And that proves, to us that we should have high selfesteem. And that tell us that our mind, heart, and body have the strength, and power to have high self-esteem about ourselves.
» Don’t let negative things that people have said to you keep destroying your high self-esteem. » Don’t let negative surroundings continue to destroy your self-esteem. » Don’t let negative situations destroy your self-esteem. » Don’t let negative, bad, hard circumstances destroy your dreams, desires, and goals. » Don’t think that you cannot do the things that you want to do. » Have the self-esteem to know that you can do all things through Christ whom strengthen you. Read Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.” Don’t let low self-esteem destroy your happiness. » Accept yourself for the way you look. » Accept yourself for the way you act, as long as if is deceit, and in order.
» Accept yourself, don’t reject yourself, and destroy your purposes in your life. And God will be proud of you, and you will be proud of yourself, because you will be happier with the identity that God created into you to have.
When you accept the love, and confidence that He put in you, then you will have a wonderful loving self-esteem that will make you love yourself, to accomplish a life of great self-esteem. And God will take care of you and carry you through everything that you desire in life. And He will take care of you, and carry you through everything that He wants to bless you with. If you make a mistake, don’t give up, and think that you are a failure. Keep on trusting in God; keep on depending on God; knowing that all things worketh for the good, for those that trusteth in the Lord; keep on praying, and meditating on the words of God, and trusting in Jesus salvation. A good friend of mine, by the name of Melinda Berryman; that I worked with at Caroline Middle School, walked up to me one day and gave me a sheet of paper, she saw that I was sometime doubtful, and afraid to confront many situations in my life. That sheet of paper; “which was a letter” it was typed up as a letter from God. And it has helped me so much with my self-esteem; so many times. This letter made my self-esteem so strong. I thank Melinda Berryman for giving me that letter. I thank God for letting her see that I needed that letter. I keep it on the front of my closet door.
This is that Wonderful Letter:
DEAR (PUT YOUR NAME HERE)
DO NOT FEEL TOTALLY, PERSONALLY, IRREVOCABLY, RESPONSIBLE, FOR EVERYTHING…
THAT’S MY JOB.
LOVE,
GOD
Now when I feel like I have done, or said something wrong; about something; or my self-esteem is low I read this letter; and I feel better? I am reassured that God has all of my problems under control. I am reassured that God is carrier all of my burdens. And He will do the same for you too. Read Psalms 55: 22, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Read Matthew 11: 30, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” So we don’t have to worry, because God will take care of us. As long as we do what is right; and pleasing to Him, God will take care of our decisions; when we trust Him, and believe in Him. So esteem yourself with confidence, and love. It is highly import to establish a mind of self-esteem at a young age; (but it is never too late) and as you grow into your teenage years, and become an adolescent, it is very important to have self-esteem, so that you will have a well-rounded successful life. Not having self-esteem, is not having confidence. And that will make you an insecure person, and when you are insecure, you are damaging your blessings, that God have for you, to have an abundant successful life. It is very important that you build up your self-esteem, within your-self, and if you have children, it is the upmost important for you to teach, and encourage them to have self-esteem. So for this Chapter: Self-Esteem has been the most difficult chapter in this book for me to write, because for so many years I didn’t have the self-esteem that I needed to fulfill my dreams, goals, purpose, and potential in life; mainly because of negative things that has been said to me; things such as: Ann you can’t, Ann you can’t. There words stole a lot of good blessings form me, because those words stole away a lot of my self-esteem. Such word can destroy a person’s dreams, goals, purpose, and potential in life. So readers, please don’t say negative things to anyone. Please encourage one another.
Please instill in yourself A high quality of self-esteem. A high essence of self-esteem. A strong confidence, of self-esteem. A full nourishment of self-esteem.
Love yourself with self-esteem; your self-worth depends on it. Love yourself; your self-esteem depends on it. If someone upset you on your job, and you get angry, and you get out of control, and start throwing a temper tantrum, you could lose your job; and it could give you a bad repartition, and it may make it hard for you to get another good job. So make sure you control your temper, with love and peace, and meekness, and humbleness. If you get upset with someone in your family, and you get out of control, and lose your temper and go into an outrage, and start fussing at them, you could lose a value family member. Sometime it takes years to regain that loving closeness back. And you will miss out on a lot of happiness that you and the family member could have had. It also can affect other in the family as well, because they will be upset they will be upset because of the confusion too. So : when you do not have self-control, it will cause you to hurt yourself, and destroy yourself in many ways with somethings that's very important to you, that you may never get back, in the same loving closeness that it was in the beginning. You may destroy the essence, and love that you fell for the person that you lost control with. And you may never get that good loving relationship back into the same loving way that it was in the past. So get and obtain the substances of self-control into your mind, and heart, it will take you through a wonderful, beautiful, happy, loving life.
LOVE YOURSELF SO THAT YOU CAN HAVE THE SUBSTANCES OF SELF-ESTEEM.
Chapter 6
Self-Control
R ead James 1:19-20, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” God wants you to be on your best behavior, so that He can continue to work His righteousness’ in you. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Have peace with all people; though the holiness that God have given you, so that you may not be tricked by the enemy and be defiled. For Hebrews 12:15 says, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Govern yourself at all times with good behavior; keeping the sweet peace of Jesus over you, and in you, so that you, letting it control you in everything that you do. Keep the sweet peace of Jesus in you, so that you will not spring up into bitterness and trouble with anyone. Keep the sweet peace of Jesus in you so that you will be able to solve your problems with peaceful self-control. We should govern ourselves with Christian moral values from the word of God. Young people should govern themselves with Christian moral values from the word of God; praying every day, when you go to school, asking God to lead, and guide, and protect you. Let brotherly love continue to dwell in you. Hebrews 13:5 say’s: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have for he hath said I will never leave thee not forsake thee. So if you need, or want something in life; and you don’t get it right away, contain yourself with self-control, and wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and I say wait on the Lord, because He promise you that He would never leave you or forsake you. Hebrews 13:6 says, “So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” So control yourself with LOVE, and God will be your helper. Hebrews 13:15-16 say’s: By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. You should always praise God, and when you are face with something that upset you, start praising God, that much more. Praise God higher, and stronger, edifying yourself with the fruits of the word of God. And when you do
that you’ll feel His love for you, and His Comfort of the Holy Spirit. Edify God when something upset you; praising Him in the name of Jesus. And communicate in peace and love, and self-control; having Godly Loving selfcontrol in every situation, for with much love, God will be please. Keep yourself from all unrighteousness that will destroy your self-control, because you are bless and highly favored by God. He’s in control of everything that happens, to you in your life. So be of good courage; trust in the Lord, lead and depend on the Lord, and he will make everything alright. Let go, and let God. And He will work everything out for you. He can fix it far better than we can, meditate on Him and let Him control the situation, by obeying Him. Jesus love for you is so sweet, and it get sweeter, and sweeter as each day go by, so let the sweet love of Jesus direct you and control you. Feed off of His words, let them teach you selfcontrol. God know how much you can bear, He won’t put no more on you then what you can bear. So fear not, and be still, and know that God is God. And that He is with you; He will never leave you, He will put His angles in charge over you to keep you in all your ways. Read Psalms 91:11, “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Sometime being in an extremely negative, emotional situation, and difficult circumstances can make a person get upset, “that’s human nature” and that’s why it’s important to stay close to God, and HIS WORD; and to stay close to his word, and praying without ceasing. The closer you are to God, the more you will be able to control yourself. God promise that he will keep us in perfect peace, if we would keep our minds on Him. Read Isaiah 26:3-4, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4. Trust ye in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” Control your heart, and mind, and tongue, with the peace, of grace, and love of God. : you take care of the outside, and God will take care of the inside. If you wash and clean the outside, God will wash and clean the inside. You ask God for the love and ability to take care of your lips, tongue and heart, and He will keep them tame, and clean, and He will show you how to control your life. God will instill in you how to speak up for yourself when you need to; in a peaceful, dignify, intelligent way. God will control the rest of your life, with his peace, and glory that the world cannot give you. God will give you the peace and glory, and self-control that only He can give to you, because he has the world in His hand, and He is in complete control, of your life. Love, Faith, Confidence, Self-Esteem, and Self-Control you need all of these substance in you to maintain the peace of love and happiness. You must be responsible for yourself, and the decisions you make. Don’t be out of control because of your past hurts; learn to forgive them, and go own with your life. It will be hard to totally love anyone else until you love yourself. You
should never think that you are better than anyone else, but you need to think that you are just good as anyone else. You cannot have the strong loving selfcontrol until you first love yourself. Allowing yourself to get out of control, because you to get upset, contributes to various malfunctions in the body, such as hypertension, which cause high-blood pressure; which most likely could have been prevented. When you get upset your blood start boiling, and you feel flush and you start sweating; and you feel so bad, and it feel like your blood is rushing all over your body. Most of the time it causes people to get very mad, and start crying. Most of the time it causes a person to get very, very angry causing their temper to explore, making them get out of their clam, nice character, putting them in a uncontrollable state of mine that may lead to destruction, that causes you and another person, or parties to get emotionally hurt or physically hurt that can bring on a lot of harm to you and others. So control yourself with love, it will prevent a lot of heart ache, and pain, and unhappiness. You are able for controlling your own attitude. So be at peace with all men. By loving yourself, and praying for self-control, and by reading the bible scriptures over yourself; God will give you the most wonderful peace that you can manifest. And God will give you the most wonderful state of self-control. Control yourself with love; love conquers ALL. Jesus wants us to have peace with each other; He do not want us to be out of control, troubled, and afraid. Read John 14:27, “Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” As long as you stay anchored in God and Jesus you will have selfcontrol peace. Read John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” God has overcome your tribulations, so now you can be of good cheer and control yourself with contentment, and loving peace.
Chapter 7 Security
P roverbs 3:5-8, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not onto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrows to thy bones. Jesus our savior came down from heaven, in the flesh, to manifest, and proclaim the word of God.” He came to teach us everything; we needed to know about loving ourselves enough to be Secure. So whenever you don’t understand something; or whenever you are insecure about something; just trust God in the name of Jesus. Don’t lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. You have His promise, so don’t be insecure. Have faith in yourself, believe in yourself; by loving yourself to trust what God has said to you. You will not be afraid or insecure if you acknowledge Him, and let Him direct your path. Be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil, because God will take care of you. And He will take care of whatever, or whoever the problem or situation is; then you will see that it will be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones. It may not be easy, or smooth sailing when you first begin, but just whole on to God’s unchanging word, and He will carry you through it all, He will give you the victory. God want us to LOVE ourselves, so that we can be brave and secure. God want our life to be safe, and secure. He wants us to be happy and joyful, and contend. We shouldn’t be unhappy; and we shouldn’t be fearful. The joy of the Lord is our strength; and He doesn’t want us to be insecure. Read Psalm 91:1, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. 2. I will say to the Lord, He is my refuse, and my fortress: my God: in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.” So love yourself, and be securely happy, because God promise you that as long as you continue to dwell in the secret place, of His most high, that you will abide under His shadow. And you will be safe and secure. As long as you abide will him, He will be your refuge, and your fortress. Just believe it; you can trust in Him, with everything in your life. He will truly deliverer you from all the snares of the fowlers, and from all of the noisome pestilence. Whatever the
circumstance, or situation may be; where it may be people or things; God will come to your recue, and take care of you. God don’t want you to worry about anything, He has everything in your life under control; He is your Alpha and Omega, “your first and your last”. He is your strong towel, you can lean, and depend on Him; He will not let you down; He will not leave you. God is your safety net. You can feel safe, and secure in Him; he will not let you down, and He will not turn away from you. He will make you secure. He will not turn His back on you. Just trust Him, and obey Him word. He is everywhere, at all times, so believe, and have faith, and trust in Him. Most insecurities where planted into us by words spoken over us when we were a child. Many lies and many deceitful words were said to us. False teachings were instilled in us; such as “You can’t!!!” “You can’t!!!” “You can’t!!!” Do that; and such words as you won’t amount to anything. Well don’t believe that anymore. Know and say what Philippians 4:13 say: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. And Read Philippians 4:4-13, “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice. 5 let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer, and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which eth all understanding, shall keep your heart and minds through Christ Jesus. So SMILE!!! So SMILE!!! So SMILE, and be SECURE. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Laugh and “BE HAPPY” “BE HAPPY” “BE HAPPY” 10. But I rejoice in the Lord greatly; that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11. Not that I speak in respect of want: For I have learned in whatever state I am, therefore to be content. 12. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full, and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.” So always , hold on to God’s word. And to study His directions; and to saturate yourself in the: 13’s verse of Phil. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. If someone makes you feel insecure, Read All of Psalms 37, which began saying: Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. And Read Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their
righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. So fret not yourself, of anything, and LOVE YOURSELF, and BE SECURE, and HAPPY. And no weapons from against you shall prosper, as long as you stay in the righteousness of God. Love yourself, so that you can reap the secure, contentment, happiness, which God created for you to have. Read Psalms 120:1, “In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.” So call on the Lord when insecure feelings come. Read Psalms 125:1, “They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. Read; these and other scriptures over yourself, and God will make you feel, and be secure. He will HEAL YOU from all insecurities. You will be able to walk, and talk boldly; with faith, and Love in everything that you do in your life. Loving yourself will give you the power to walk and talk in the securities that God want you to have; and that is the blessed assures securities. And it will give you the confidence that you need to live a successful, happy life. Loving yourself make you receive the blessings that Jesus died on the cross for you to have. Be secure, and complete your LOVE LIFE, by receiving all the blessings that you desire to have. You are the righteousness of God. And you desire the abundant life, of all of His blessings. You can receive them by being secure enough to LOVE YOURSELF. Read Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.”
Chapter 8 Attitude
T o have a good attitude; it’s very important to LOVE YOURSELF. If you don’t love yourself, your attitude is; sad and negative most of the time, creating a inter mind, and heart of emotional distress and resentment; most of the time your conversation is unpleasant, and unpleasing. Most of the time it’s hard for you to agree with someone that is engaging in a positive discussion. Most of the times you are discourage, and discontent and that can destroy so many good things in your life. It can destroy family relationship, if you have a bad attitude; you can destroy friendship relationships. When you have a bad attitude, you can destroy your relationship, and good standards on your job. If you have a bad attitude, you are subject to saying, and doing things that can destroy yourself; and regretfully destroy relationships with other people in many ways, by saying or doing something that are offence to them. It can be a dangerous thing not to love yourself, establishing a bad dislikeable attitude. Carrying the weight of a bad attitude can eventually drive people away from you, because no one likes to be around a person with a bad negative attitude. So clean your thoughts of negative, bad attitudes; clean them out of your heart, and mind, so that you will not destroy your positive, happiness. God don’t want you to have a bad attitude, and if you do have a bad attitude He want you to change. God want to heal you from negative bad thinking, and actions. God want to takes away those bad negative attitudes: from your soul, spirit, and mind. When you have a good attitude, God will bless you, even more bountifully. Read Psalms 51:1-12, “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving Kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgression. 2. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3. For I acknowledge my transgression: and my sin is ever before me. 4. Against thee, only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mightiest be justified when thou speakest, and be clean when thou judgest. 5. Behold, I was shaper in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8. Make me to hear joy and gladness: that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoices. 9. Hide my
face from sin, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” So by the word of God clean your heart of a bad attitude. Practice having a good attitude in everything that you do. God is even more please, and happy with you when you have a good loving attitude. You will prevent a lot of pain and suffering, when you have a good attitude about your communication, and about your life style. God’s grace and mercy will continue to flow through you, and carry you through your peaceful, loving attitude. And He will bless you in an extraordinary, marvelous way in any type of situation. When you perform with life ups, and downs with a polite, pleasant attitude, you will receive the victory, and peace that you are seeking. Read The whole Book of Proverbs. Study it, and let it lead you and guide you; obey its words, by doing what it say. It will birth into you the good, strong, righteous, loving attitude that you need, to make your life, loving, content, happy, and successful. For example: Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Read All of chapter 15. Feed off of it; study it, and pray for it to instill a good attitude into you, pray for God in the name of Jesus to instill in you a good attitude; into you mind, heart, spirit, and soul; it will give you the nourishment that you need to have a good, loving, “God Way” attitude.; it will give you a: “What Would Jesus Do” attitude. Read Ephesians 4:29-32, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your month, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. 32. And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” So LOVE YOURSELF enough to not let corrupt communication proceed out of your month. And be at peace with everyone, and everything. My Mother use say this quote: to us when we were growing up, it said: “You can get more files with honey, than you can with vinegar”. In other words you will get along better in the world, with people, and situations, if you are good, polite, respectful, and pleasant toward people; then you will if you are evil, and cure to them. Love yourself and continue to have a wonderful life. I read something about fifteen years ago that helped me in so many ways in my life; and I would be strongly remiss if I did not put it in this eighth chapter, of this book. It was written by Charles R. Swindoll, Author and Pastor. It says:
ATTITUDE
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstance, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill.
It will make or break a company… a church… a home… The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
Thank you so much, Pastor Swindoll, this has helped me, greatly in my life. And I believe that it has helped so many other people as well. It have truly been a great blessing.
Chapter 9 Encouragement
R ead Psalms 27:14, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait; I say, on the Lord.” Love yourself enough to encourage yourself. God Love us so much that he is encouraging us. So we have the assurance that God is ing us; and He has given us the power through His word, and through His promise, and through Jesus saving grace, and mercy, and through His LOVE, to encourage ourselves.
Encourage-to inspire with courage, spirit or hope, to give help or patronage.
Encourage yourself by being more. Enthusiasm-True enthusiasm is not just sudden burst of emotional energy; but rather a form of deep Peace and strong emotional current. You must have enough enthusiasm for yourself for to have the courage to encourage yourself. You have to encourage yourself by being more enthusiastic. Enthusiasm, and encouragement is not limited to pom-poms and football games, and it definitely goes deeper than padding someone on the back. Enthusiasm and encouragement can light the pathway, for one’s life. It’s worth developing the habit of being enthusiastic; and encouraged. Some people seem to have been born with enthusiasm, and encouragement; but many people had to create it within themselves. You can create the substance of enthusiasm, and encouragement within you; by starting out with LOVING YOURSELF. Read Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord God will help me: therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. So we have the assurance that we do not have to be ashamed, because the Lord God Jesus, and His Holy Spirit is with us. Jesus redeemed us, and saved us. So we can whole our heads up high, and walk tall, and strait, and proud, and not be ashamed, and we don’t have to be fearful; but we can be encourage in our doing.
Read Proverbs 10:21, “The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.” And Proverbs 12:25, “Heaviness in the heart of a man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” We will be bless, and highly favor by encouraging ourselves, and each other with cheerful, and joyful words. Don’t let problems weight you down with a heavy, hurt heart. Shake off resentment; and negative feelings. Left yourself up with the Love of encouragement. I encourage you to read the whole entire Book of Proverbs. And do as it say. There are many ways to help you encourage yourself. You can encourage yourself by being around positive people, and things. We need to be around people that have set high standards, and good righteous goals for themselves. We need to be around people that have good moral values, and good examples for us to follow; such as: bible studies, Sunday school classes, good positive church services, college courses, trade schools, helping the needy, showing comion to everyone. We need to speak over our self-righteousness; looking at what’s good and not at what’s bad all the time. We should no cry the blues all the time, by complaining about everything. That's why the children of Israel stayed in the wilderness 40 years instill of 2 weeks, because they cried and complained too much; when they should have been thanking God and being happy, and encouraging themselves, and each other. Talk with encouraging words. Encourage yourself to gain excellent in all that you do. Encourage yourself to have confidence, and self-control in everything that you do. It’s always good for a person to be knowledgeable in everything that they do; so that they can know things for themselves. So go to school; get as much education as you can. knowledge is power. Learn and archive a higher intelligence, and a higher intellect; into you, because God said we should get wisdom, and He said knowledge is more precious than silver and gold. The more knowledge you have the more power, and understanding, and encouragement you’ll have to govern your own affairs in life. In so many ways knowledge will help give you the tools to provide you with a higher level of encouragement. You have to pray for people that are always upset, and talking that negative “OH ME, I WISH I HADER, I WISH I WOULDER”. We need to tone out people that are always putting you down, and saying discouraging words to you; for example: people start off talking friendly to you, that’s to make you trust their motive, and friendship, and get on your good side, so that they can bate you into a conversation to find out your personal business, and to find out your weakness. And when you start laughing and talking with them, they ease in to an attack of negative words, and conversation. Telling you what you can’t do;
trying to make you feel bad about yourself. They will say such things as; Ann you look tied, or, Ann you sure do look bad, or what’s wrong with you. Or they’re always criticizing you, telling you, you can’t do this or you can’t do that. And they are always finding negative fault in everything that go wrong. Don’t let people or things like that discourage you? And 100% of the time you are not the one that’s wrong. And you are not the one that’s doing so badly. Walk away from negative conversations. Stay away from discouraging people, and situations. But sometime in life when we can’t avoid negative conversations, or problems; just stay strong in the good thoughts, and feelings that your heart tell you to do; and say; stay strong and be of good courage. Don’t let those discouraging words touch your heart, spirit, and mind. Pray to God, and Jesus; ask Him to clean you with his blood, and heal you with His strips; which He has already done on the cross for you; to redeem you with all the love you need to be encouraged. Read all of Mark 9:41-50. If anything offends you pluck it out. And don’t let it discourage you. when someone come to you starting a conversation off laughing and happy; but in the middle of the conversation they start putting down things you say, don’t continue into that negative spirit of communication. Continue to keep your mind happy with positive thoughts. Don’t let people negative conversations discourage you; into a mind of unbelieveth, and complaining about things. Don’t put yourself down. Don’t put your life down, no matter what people say about you, to try to put you down, and discourage you; encourage yourself, left yourself up. Take your problems and decisions to God, and to the cross of Jesus. And when you need an earthly person to talk to, ask Jesus to lead you to the right person. He will lead you to the right person, just trust Him.
• Keep your Heart with the encouragement of Love. • Keep your Conversation with the encouragement of Love. • Keep your Holy Spirit with the encouragement of Love. • Keep your Thoughts with the encouragement of Love. • Keep your communications with the encouragement of Love. • Keep your conversations on happyencouraging words.
• Keep your Tongue on Peaceful, and Positive encouraging, andlovingconversations. • Keep the Joy of the Lord in you to keep you encourage.
God wants you to love yourself enough to be ENCOURAGE.
Not being encouraged will destroy a lot of blessings that you could have in your life. Not being encouraged will put your mine in a distorted, confessed limbo state, that will shut you down from making wise decisions that will bless you and your future; therefore you won’t be able to think clearly; and then you will make bad, and wrong decisions; which will mess up and destroy a good blessing; that was intended for you to receive; but if you had encouraged yourself, and lifted yourself up to the faith and believeth, and confidence, and trust that God created in you to have, everything would have worked out fine, and you would have had the victory in that situation; whatever it may have been. Not being encourage will make you feel negative; and that negative feeling can make you make wrong decisions in your life that can destroy your blessings. Not being encourage will make you feel unworthy, and those unworthy feelings can make you make bad, and wrong decisions in your life that can destroy your blessings. I read this prom on a fan about Encouragement, and God put it in my heart; very strongly to put it in this book, to help encourage you, and help you as it has helped me, and encouraged me.
I REFUSED TO BE DISCOURAGED
I refused to be discouraged, to be sad or to cry; I refused to be down hearted, and here’s the reason why: I have a God who’s mighty, who’s sovereign and supreme. I have a God who loves me and I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful. Jesus is His name. Though everything is changeable, my God remains the same. My Gods knows all that’s happening; beginning to the end; His presence is my comfort; he is my dearest friend.
Read Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.” Christ will strengthen you to encourage yourself. All you have to do is to put it into action, and just Do It!!! If you are not in a locate church; it will benefit you greatly to one as so as possible; and start attending Sunday school. And start attending Sunday morning worship service. And start attending Bible studies. Look at inspirational ministries, and stories and songs on TV. And listen to inspirational stories, and songs on the radio; that will help you. Speak positive words over yourself, laugh, and smile a lot; BE HAPPY. Being happy will help keep you healed. Encourage yourself by loving yourself, because you have to love yourself before you can receive real, true love from anyone else. Encourage yourself, by loving yourself; lifting yourself up, and edifying yourself. Be encourage, and you will prosper in all that you do. Read 1: 5-9, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6. Be strong, and of a good courage: for unto this people shall thou divide for an heritance the land, which I swear unto their fathers to give them. 7. Only be thou strong, and very courageous, this thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goesth. 8. THIS BOOK of the law shall not depart out thy month; but thou shalt meditate there in day and
night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (So be encourage and you will have good success). 9. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong, and of a GOOD COURAGE; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” SO DON’T DESTROY YOUR BLESSINGS; BY NOT HAVING COURAGE.
Love yourself by having courage; and you will receive great rewards; you will be strong, you will be bless, you will prosper, you will be successful, you will be happy. So encourage yourself, by thinking, and speaking, and doing good things for yourself. There’s a GREAT GOSPEL SONG recorded by Donald Lawrence & The TriCity Singers; that speaks wonderfully about encouraging yourself. It tells how you have to encourage yourself, it tells how you have to speak a word over yourself; and be strong in the Lord. It talks about Christians having to encourage themselves and being able to speak a word in our situations. Also it states that we must pat ourselves on the back, and be strong in the Lord, tell the storms to move. Hold on, be strong in the Lord. Now here are the words to that great song.
ENCOURAGE YOURSELF
Sometime you have to encourage yourself. Sometime you have to speak victory during the test. And no matter how you feel, speak the word and you will be healed. Speak over yourself, encourage yourself in the Lord.
Sometime you have to speak the word over yourself, The pressure is all around, but God is present help.
The enemy created walls, but giants, they do fall; Speak over yourself, encourage yourself in the Lord.
(Speak over yourself; (Encourage yourself in the Lord). So LOVE YOURSELF by speaking GOD words over yourself in the Name of JESUS and ENCOURAGE YOURSELF.
Chapter 10 Patience
T here are bible verses that tell us to have patience’s and wait. Read Psalms 33: 20-21, “Our soul waiteth for the lord: he is our help and shield. 21. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” Read Psalms 40:1-2, “I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” Read Hebrews 6:15, “And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Read Psalms 27:14, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” This verse tells us two times to wait, and not be too hasty; it tells us not to make our decisions so fast. WAIT!! By not rushing, or being too hasty we will avoid a lot of bad mistakes, and a lot of sleepless nights. And a lot of crying; and a lot of saying “I wish that I had did this” and “I wish that I had did that”. Learn to apply patience in yourself. Educate yourself, and get the skills you need to yourself; and anyone else that need help, and ; such as your spouse, and your children. Be patience when it comes to choosing friends, and associates. Don’t let negative people pressure you into bad relationships with them; which a lot of time is called “pep-pressure”. PerPressure is a weak way, and a cheap way of being weak, and insecure. And I hope that you have heard the saying; only the strong severe. Well let me assure you, in many cases that saying is very, very much true. So beware of negative relationships, and places. Being at the wrong place, at the wrong time can destroy a lot of blessings, that you could had. So be patient; and do not fall into verses temptations. And be patient when you go out on a date; do not go into dangerous places with your associates. Be patient by not getting yourself into dangerous situations. Be patient, by waiting to have sex, so that you won’t have a child out of wed-lock, and regrettably obtain a responsibility that you are not ready for. For one of the Tenth Commandments plainly states that we should not commit adultery. God want us to patiently wait to have sex, so that we will be safe; and not destroy our blessings. Read Deuteronomy 5:18, “Neither shalt commit adultery.” Be patient and wait
until you are ready for that responsibility. Love yourself enough to have patience, and wait to build your dream home. Don’t rush and buy something that you don’t really want; patiently wait for what your heart desire; if you can do better have patience and wait. Patiently wait for the things that you need and want; wait until you have the right amount of money, or until your financials is affordable. Pray to God, and ask Him to give you wisdom and the peace of patiently waiting on Him to lead you, and guide you toward; and into the right directions; and ask God to lead you to make the right decisions. He will do it, because the word of God say wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, and He will give you the desires of your heart. what confident say; cast not away your confident, for it has great rewards. Having confidents’ leads to having patience. And all of those substances provide you toward receiving your GREAT REWARDS.
So just trust in God’s word.
Trust in the Patience that God has given to you.
HAVING PATIENCE 1. Will make you Love Yourself. 2. Will make you wait for your dreams, when the time is right, you’ll make right decision tha 3. Will make you obey your parents and not listen to other children when they tell you to act 4. Will make you study for a test so that you will it.
Webster’s Dictionary defines Patience as: Bearing pains, or trials calmly, or without complaint. 2. Manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain. 3. Not hasty, or impetuous. 4. Steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity. 5. Able or willing to bear. My Grandmother; I called her Grand Hattie; would always say: (God will not put more on us then we can bear). There are a lot of sayings, and cliques that emphasize on how important it is to have patience, and not to rush or even speak too soon. It’s better to take our time, in certain situations, and think everything over before we make decisions on matters, (great and small). We prevent a lot of hardships, hurts, and strugglers in our lives, if we just have patience, and think things over more carefully, and not rushing into our decision making. Some of the cliques are: (“hasty make waste”), and (“a horse that trot fast don’t trot long”), and (“waste not want not”), (“and take your time, do it right”). So let’s pray to God, and make Him the center of our lives. And let Him lead you and guide you, and give you Patience.
And , that Patience is a Virtue. There are bible verses that tell you to have patience, Read Psalm 33:20-21, “Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and shield. 21. For our heart shall rejoice in him because we have trusted in his Holy name.” Psalms 40:1-2, I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” Read Hebrews 6:15, “And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Read Matthews 18:26, “The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.” Read Luke 8:15, “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” Read Luke 21:19, “In your patience possess ye your souls.” So LOVE YOURSELF by putting on the whole army of Godly Patience, so that your life can be more prospers, and more wealthy, and more healthy, and happier, and you can have the redemption, and the salvation that our Lord Jesus Christ, and God has already given us. Do not destroy a lot of your blessings and
perish, because you do not have patiences that you so strongly need to live a victorious life.
“LOVE YOURSELF WITH PATIENCE”
Chapter 11 Wisdom
Read James 3:17, But the wisdom that is from above first pure then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. So ask God’s for wisdom from above, it is full of things that is pure, it is fill of everything that you need, to produce a fulfilling, successful, comfortable happy life. So ask God for wisdom for everything that you need in life. And He will give you the knowledge, and understanding that you need, to lead you, and guide you in every situation, and circumstance that you encounter in your life. Ask God for wisdom: For the word tells us in James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. And James 1:6 say; But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:7-8, “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” James 1:8 says, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” You have to be stable; so that you will know what you are doing. Everyone need to ask God for wisdom; it is the food, and strength that fluid our mind; it is the knowledge that direct us. Wisdom-As quoted from the bible: The ability to judge rightly. The wisdom literature takes up part of the writings of the Old Testament. The law gave men the commandments of Jehovah; prophecy call for right conduct in view of the covenant with Jehovah; wisdom commented upon the reality of things by means of observation and reflection. However this wisdom is seen as being from God, and the first rule of wisdom is to fear God. Read Psalms 111:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever.” Read Prov. 9:9-10, “Give in instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Read Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” The book of Job wrestles with the problem of suffering. Ecclesiastes asks its readers
to hold on to their faith in God, and keep his commandments; and as you do this you will develop the love for yourself that wisdom will give you. The wisdom of Israel became one of the noblest expressions of their faith, and is one of the preparations for the revelation of God through Christ, who is the incarnation of the wisdom of God. Read I Cor. 1: 24, “But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”

Then shalt thou walk in thy safety, and thy foot shall not stumble.” So Love yourself so that you will walk free, and your foot will not stumble. A wise man is strong: yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.” So Love yourself so that you will build your house with wisdom, and establish it with understanding. Love yourself so your chambers will be filled with all precious, and pleasant riches. Love yourself so that you will be strong with knowledge, and increase your strength. Read Ecclesiastes 7:11-12, “Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. 12. For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.” So Love yourself so that you can receive the wisdom of your good inheritance. Read Isaiah 33:6, “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.” So love yourself so you can receive the treasures of the lord through His wisdom. Read I Corinthians 1:30, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” So love yourself, so that you may be in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption; Glory to our Lord, and Savior. Ask Him for His wisdom, and seek His wisdom, so that you may receive all of His blessings. Read I Corinthians 2:5, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” So Love yourself, so that you don’t have to depend on the wisdom of men, but that you will have the wisdom power of God. Read James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” So Love yourself, by asking God for wisdom, and He will give it to you. Read James 3:17, But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. HALLELUJAH!!! HALLELUJAH!!! HALLELUJAH!!! PRAISE GOD!!! So Love Yourself for the great power, and favor, that wisdom has given you; that’s from above, that’s first pure, then peaceable, and gentle, and easy to be
entreated, and full of mercy, and good fruit, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
God give His WISDOM to all that ask Him. Thank You Lord God.
Thank You Christ Jesus. Thank You for Giving Us Wisdom!!!
Chapter 12 Understanding
W e need understanding for everything in our life. It will be very difficult to do anything, if you don’t have the understanding that you need to perform the task that you are preceding to do. Ask God for wisdom to understand your own life; for yourself. Be self-reliance, by loving yourself. And by loving, and appreciating the gifts that God has given you. God has already given you the ability to understand what you need to understand; He has already put understanding in you. Read Corinthians 4:6-10 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be God and not us (So we need to thank God for understanding; and give Him all the praises and glory). 8. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” Pray to God, and ask Him for the wisdom, and confident to understand right from wrong. The word of God say in II Timothy 2:15-16, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” If you don’t study something that you don’t understand, most likely you will not be approved, and you’ll be ashamed if you make a mistake, and you’ll be divided by the word of truth. If you don’t understand something you’ll shun profane and vain babbling, and they will destroy what you are trying to say in your behalf. So pray over your situation, and study over every situation that you have; and ask for understanding to make wise, safe decisions. Study the bible; it will teach you, and strengthen your understanding, and your intellect. Read Psalm 119:130, “The unfolding of your word gives light: it give understanding to the simple.” The bible will give you the simple things; that you want to know. It will give you understanding for great things also. Whatever it may be: Read Proverbs 12:15, “Good understanding giveth Favor: but the way of transgressors is hard. Learn to understand; so that you can have favor.”
We have to understand what we are doing, because if we don’t understand what we are doing and we make the wrong decision, because we don’t know what we’re doing, because we didn’t pray over it, and let the word of God direct us; can make our lives difficult. If we don’t under-stand what we are doing; may make our decision making, of certain situations, turn into a longsuffering therefore destroying everything that we thought was the right thing to do. Our feelings must harmonize, and agree with what the bible say, and with what it teaches (For if we do not). Read Proverbs 16-25, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. So you cannot understand things man way; (or the worldly way) you have to understand things God’s way. Love yourself enough, to study to show yourself approved, so that you can use your own common sense, and six senses that God gave to you to understand things for yourself.
Some tools in life that you can get to help you Understand.
1. Getting closer to God, praying, and studying His word, and teaches. 2. Getting a good education to learn how to solve problems for yourself. 3. Getting a good education so that you can know how to understand life disappointments. 4. Learn how to get good proper skills, and good advance training, so that you will understand how to apply your life in the order that best favors you. 5. Turning your life over to Jesus will equip you with the understanding that you need. 6. Equipping yourself with God’s word and educating yourself will show you approved in every good work. 7. Get as much knowledge as you can get; for it is more precious than silver and gold. 8. Learn as much as you can; about yourself, and about your goals, and about
yours desires, and your dreams, and ask God to let you find your purpose in life; that you were created to be, and have. 9. Learn what the shed blood of Jesus did for you; learn what His redemption did for you; learn what His atonement did for you. Learn what His strips did for you. 10. Learn and understand, as much as you can about how prosperity is what Jesus wants for you. 11. Learn and understand as much as you can about how to be a good steward with your finances; and money. 12. Learn and understand as much as you can about how to be successful in life, so that you won’t have to struggle in life so much.
Read Proverbs 1-27, “It tells, and teaches you how wonderful and important it is to have understanding.” Read Proverbs: 4:1-6, “Hear my children the instructions of a father, and give attention to know understanding. 2. For I give you good doctrine. Do not forsake my, law. 3. When I was my father’s son tender and the only one in the sight of my mother. 4. He also taught me, and said to me. Let your heart retain my words; keep my commands, and live. 5. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7. Wisdom is the principal thing: therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get UNDERSTANDING.”
Understanding follows wisdom. After you get wisdom and understanding, you will be wiser. Therefore you will make the best decisions in your life. And you will have a more successful and happier life. Read Proverbs: 9:9-11 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will increase in learning. 10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is UNDERSTANDING. 11. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. So love yourself enough to ask God for UNDERSTANDING, AND WISDOM; THAT HE HAS ALREADY PLANTED IN YOU. BUT HE WANT YOU TO ASK HIM: FOR
HE SAID ASK, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN, UNTO YOU, BECAUSE GOD’S WISDOM, AND UNDERSTANDING IS GENIUS, AND PURE. Apply these words of God, and His instructions to you and your life, and God will lead you to get the UNDERSTANDING. If something, or someone upset you, or temp you in a negative way, and make mad enough to cause you to wrath; and you don’t understand, how to calm yourself down, and get control of the situation, with your own intellect of wisdom and understanding, it can cause you a lot of hurt and heartache. Read Proverbs: 14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. When God has given you understanding, and wisdom, you will become a wiser person. You will know how to think for yourself, and make wiser and better decisions for yourself; which will be good, successful decisions for yourself. After you study to show yourself approved, you will strive to be a stronger, happier person. Love yourself enough to fear the Lord, because that is the beginning of the wisdom that you need to get understanding. And rejoice, because now you are on your way to receive the knowledge of the Holy Spirit, that you need to be self-reliance, with the anointing of understanding; that you so rightly deserve; and that you so strongly need; to live a loving, happy, successful, rewarding life. And your life will be great with God’s Holy understanding. Jesus died on the cross to atone you with the understanding that you need to have and to instill in your mind to know how to make your own decisions; and to know how to solve your own problems. So love yourself by taking advantage of the wonderful gift of understanding. It’s not easy to understand something if you don’t have love in you, because without Godly love you are confused, and down hearted, and it’s slow, and hard for you to understand. Therefore in all you’re getting, get LOVING UNDERSTANDING. As you grow closer to God, ask Him for His understanding for everything that you do; and He will give it to you. Get understanding so that everything that you do will be done decently, and in order; and with LOVE. Read I Corinthians: 14:40, “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
In Getting Everything, Get UNDERSTANDING because YOU need it for everything.

When you get employment, understand everything about your job. And understand the people you work with, (you will spend a lot of time with your coworkers); and everyone has different personalities, and everyone has different lives, they bring all of their situations to work with them; try very hard to understand them and you will get along with them much better. And you will have a more peaceful, loving work place. Understand your friends, and you will get along with them better; and you will have a better relationship with them. Parents understand your children, and children understand your parents, and you will have a happier, more successful life. And it will make your life much easier. Husbands, understand your wife; and wife understand your husband, as long as you are not in an abusive relationship; learn to understand each other, and accept each for the way they are. Love yourself; by understanding yourself; it will make your life more peaceful; it will make your life much happier; it will make your life much more successful. Think things out; analyze, examine, and research your situation, and whatever the problem is, pray over it, to get the best understanding of how to make a good decision, that’s best for you. Love yourself, by getting the understanding you need to reach your goals, and dreams, and to obtain your full successful purpose in life. By loving yourself you will truly understand how to love others. By loving yourself, you will truly understand God, and Jesus, and what Jesus did on the cross for you. Read St. Luke: 9:23 And he “Jesus” said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Understand yourself enough to love yourself enough to deny yourself, and take up your cross daily and follow JESUS. This is GREAT!!! READ Proverbs: 3: 1-13 1. My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee, 3. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4. So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9. Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: 10. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. 11. My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: 12.
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 13. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth UNDERSTANDING. SO LOVE YOURSELF, BY TRUSTING IN THE LORD, AND GETTING UNDERSTANDING.
Chapter 13 Righteousness
T o begin this chapter, we will be honest with ourselves, and read the verse in the bible which states in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” And Matthew 5:6 says, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” First we know that we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of God, but through Jesus redemption on the cross we have his saving grace to be worthy of His blessings. So we have the right to be the righteousness of God, because the Lord says blessed are they which do hunger, and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. So love yourself enough to hunger and thirst after righteousness. Love yourself enough to do the right thing in your life. Love yourself enough to trust God for His righteousness. Love yourself enough to treat people right. It is very important to communicate to people, in a loving, respectful way. That’s doing the right thing; and God will be please with you for that; and He will give you an extra measure of blessings for that. For Jesus; who knew no sin was made sin for us; so that we could be made the righteousness of God, and He has exhorted us to be righteous. And we are new creatures though Christ, with His righteousness, because His word says: Read II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are ed away; behold, all things are become new. Read Corinthians: 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” So that verse prove to us that we are the righteousness of God; and by doing the right things we are the righteousness of God in His sight. We often think; by just being good, is doing right; but that is not always true. Sometime being good is not always being right. If you were working in a school, and you had to serve three hundred students their lunch; and you cooked three hundred cupcakes, but you decided to be good, to the first one hundred students that came into the cafeteria, and you gave them two cupcakes each. And you ran out of cupcakes when the last one hundred students came in to eat, and they
didn’t get any cupcakes. Was it right that you were good to the first one hundred, students by giving them two cupcakes by being good? “NO that was wrong”. By trying to be good to the first one hundred students you did not do right by the last one hundred students. Now how do you think, the last one hundred students will feel. Maybe that don’t seem like a good example; but I have worked at a school, with children, and that can be a hurting thing, if you were looking forward to something, and when you came to get it, someone didn’t do the right thing, and you missed out on it. So you see it mean a lot to do the right thing, even if it seem like you’re doing a good thing. Even with the little things, or with the least important things we have to do the right thing. For we are the righteousness of God; and we will avoid a lot of heartaches, and bad decisions in our life if we would do the right thing. God is righteous, and we are made in His image, so therefore we can be righteous. Read I John 2:29, “If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness, is born of him.” Read I John 37, “Little children, let no man deceive you; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.” As we abide in God, and God abide in us than we are the righteousness of God, and it will be easier for us to do the right things in our lives. Continue to abide in Jesus; Read All of John Chapter 15. John 15:4, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye; except ye abide in me.” So abide in Jesus, and let Him abide in you, to manifest your RIGHTEOUSNESS. Love yourself with the security of knowing that you dwell safe in God. Read Jeremiah 23:5-6 Behold, the days come, said the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safety: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. So we have been given righteousness thought God, because he is our righteousness. So we are planted with His righteousness in us, because we are made in the image of God. And we have the finish work of Jesus Christ salvation on the cross for us; that make us the righteousness of God. And if we don’t do the right things in our lives, and if we don’t live right, we will be convicted, and chastised, and our life circumstances, and conditions will let us know that we have not done, or said something that is not pleasing to God. But if we repent to God, by coming through Jesus, and His cleansing blood that He shed on the cross for us; and be Godly sorry we will be restored to His Righteous Favor for us through His forgiveness; and we will always be the Righteousness
of God. Pray and stay in the word of God, and He will keep your mind in perfect peace. God will lead your mind, and heart, and keep you in all righteousness, because God is our leader, and our road map to righteousness, so follow Him, He will lead us to know what’s right, and what’s wrong. God will inspire in us to make the right choices. Parents Love your children, and treat them right. Do the right Loving things, for your children. Parents have always wanted children to make them feel proud; but I have never heard anyone say that parents should make their children feel proud. It works both ways; parents should make their children feel proud also. CHILDREN FOLLOW BY EXAMPLE. Do the right things; by obeying the laws of the land. (And the Law enforcement rules); you will live a more bless, happier, healthier, prospers life. And Children Obey your parents, love them, and respect them, and they will be proud of you. God made you to be righteous: Read I Corinthians 1:30, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us, wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”
@ GOD is made unto us wisdom through JESUS CHRIST. @ GOD is made unto us RIGHTEOUSNESS through JESUS CHRIST. @ GOD is made unto us sanctification through JESUS CHRIST. @ GOD is made unto us redemption though JESUS CHRIST.
Do not fall unto a sinful life, by being unrighteous; and damage yourself with sin; and destroy your blessings. Read I John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin. The Bible is full with so many verses about the importance of righteousness. Read the Bible, and study all the verses about righteousness. You do not want to follow, nor participate in anything that’s not right; if you do you can destroy your blessings. Doing the right thing; being righteous will make you feel good about yourself. And it will make you LOVE YOURSELF; and it will give you the added confidents that you need to be a stronger, loving, happier, successful
person. Being the righteousness of God will protect you from making a lot of mistakes. SO LOVE YOURSELF BY KNOWING THAT YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. No matter what anyone else do, or say, you do, and say the right thing. Let God, and Jesus, and the bible scriptures lead you, because: Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scriptures is God Breathed, and is useful for the teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. So have yourself thoroughly equipped with righteousness for every good work in your life. Practice what James: 1:19-21 say: 19. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. 20. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your soul. God want to save your soul with RIGHTEOUSNESS. SO LOVE YOURSELF, AND RECEIVE YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Chapter 14 Hope
H ope is an anchor of your soul; it is a living feeling in you, leading you to your desires, and giving you your victory. Don’t give up on what you hope for; don’t give up on your desires, and dreams. Hope is the sister to faith and charity. Read Cor. 13:13 “And now abideth faith, hope these three: but the greatest is Charity.” Hope is having a desiring for something; or wanting something that your heart, and mind feel that you should have, or that you need. Read Hebrews 1:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hope is the beginning of your faith. Hope is having faith in God; in excepting Him and His Son Jesus, which is at the right side; making intersection for our prayers, and for the things that we Hope for. And Jesus is carrying our petitions to our Father, God for the things we hope for. We can have Hope though our faith in our Savior Jesus Christ; that whatever we hope for we will receive. My sister-in-law Gloria has a daughter name Hope; she said that she hoped for a girl, a “daughter” so she named her Hope. Hope is a powerful thing to have. Hope is in our heart, moving and manifesting our wants, and desires. Hope is in our mind, and thoughts, moving and transforming our desires into reality. Hope can move your mountains, if you only believe strong enough. Hope can take you through hardships; if you keep your heart and mind stayed on Jesus, and what he did for you through His salvation on the cross. Hope is the fuel and power to keep you focal on the plans that you have; and not give up, if things began to look impossible. Just keep on hoping that everything will be alright; when you keep hoping that everything will be alright, and keep the faith, than the hope of your faith will bring you through, and give you victory, in the things that you hoped for. Webster’s definition of Hope is: 1. To cherish a desire with expectation of fulfillment. 2. To long for with expectation of obtainment. 3. To expect with desire. 4. To trust, to believe. 5. Expectation of fulfillment or success. Before you can have faith; you have to have hope. There’s a saying that goes, “KEEP HOPE ALIVE”. Yes it’s very important to keep hope alive I your life. Don’t stop
believing in your hope. Don’t give up on your hope. Don’t let anyone take your hope away. Don’t let anyone destroy your hope; don’t let no one destroy your blessings. Love yourself enough to keep on hoping for what your heart desire. If you are not happy with a certain situation in your life, and you hope for that situation to be difference; strive to change the situation, believe in the hopes that you have in making the situation better. If you hope for a higher education, continue to go to school. And soon you will get the higher education that you hoped for. If you have been planted negative seeds into your life, hope for those bad negative seeds to be rooted out of you and your life. If you hope for your mind, and heart to be cleanse of those negative things, pray and ask God to get them out of your mind, and heart. You will hope that you would not those hurting bad negative words, and situations; you try to block them out of your mind; and you hope those bad thoughts will go away. Pray to God, forgive, hope, have faith, believe, have charity; “PRAISE GOD, WORSHIP GOD, and HE WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS, and GIVE YOU THE VICTORY OF WHAT YOU HOPED FOR. Speak positive words over your situations; there is POWER in your mouth; THERE IS POWER IN YOUR TONGUE. Read I Peter 1:13 Therefore gird up the lions of your mind, be sober, and HOPE to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. So just HOPE in JESUS CHRIST, and He will give you what you hope for. Grid up the lions of your mind, be sober, and hope, and He will give you the grace of His revelation. Believe in the things you HOPE for. Believe in yourself; exercise the HOPE that’s in you by loving yourself, and having faith in the desires, that you HOPE for.
@ Exercise the HOPE that you have for a successful life by LOVING YOURSELF. @ Exercise the HOPE that you have to forgive, and you will LOVE YOURSELF. @ Exercise the HOPE that you have to have confident in yourself, by LOVING YOURSELF. @ Exercise the HOPE that you have for self-esteem in yourself, by LOVING YOURSELF.

Read Romans 12:12, Rejoicing in HOPE; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. Pray continually for the HOPE that’s in you; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. So love yourself joyfully; exercising your hope with enthusiasm. Discover the hope that’s in you, and receive your blessings. Learn how to have faith in the hope that’s in you; and follow your instinct; and don’t give up on the
desires that you hope for, just keep your faith, and believe in God’s word and you will receive. I want to share this wonderful information that I came across on the internet:
The Rewards and Blessings Hope has for us
@ It gives us joy and peace. Romans 15:13, “Now the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 5:2, “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
@ It gives us protection. Psalm: 33:18, “Behold the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. Upon them that hope in his loving kindness”.
@ It gives us strength, courage, boldness. Psalm: 31:24, “Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord.”
It gives us endurance, comfort, confidence in the face of death. Thessalonians 4:13, “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope.”
@ It gives us confidence in ministry. I Timothy 4:10, “For it is for we labor, and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the savior of all men, especially of the believers.”
The negative origin of Hope; where and how do we get Hope; Warning regarding false Hope. There are a number of warnings in scriptures against putting our hope in anything other than the Lord, because these things will leave us ashamed, frustrated, disappointed, and ruin. Psalm 33:17, “a house is a false hope for victory, nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength. “Point” deliverance must come from the Lord.” Psalm 146:5 How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God; rather than man. Proverbs 11:7, “When a wicked man dies, his expectation will perish, and the hope of strong men perishes. The strong man hopes physical strength, his money, or power or positive, but ultimately, it must perish.” Proverbs: 24:14 Know that wisdom is thus for your soul; If you find it then there will be a future. And your hope will not be cut off. Without God’s wisdom which gives God’s hope, your will be in the wrong thing and it will be cut off. These are some Positive Origins of HOPE; The means and basis of the only true HOPE. God is called “the God of HOPE”. This means: He is the source of all real hope. If we are going to have hope (confident expectation), it must come from Him for He alone has the power to give it. Psalms 62:5, “My soul waits in silence for God only; for my hope is in Him.” Romans 15:13, “Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are without Christ, you are without God and without Hope.” Ephesians 2:12, “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.” I Timothy 1:12 Paul, “An apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and of Christ Jesus, who is our Hope: 2. Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Hope depends on knowing the word of God. Romans: 15:4, “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for instruction, that though perseverance and the encouragement of the Scripture we might have hope.” Colossians 1:5-6, “For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel. 6. Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world: and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth.”
Hope depends on knowing and resting in God’s grace. II Thessalonians 2:16-17, “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace. 17. Comfort your heart, and stablish you in every good word and work.”
Hope depends on the Spirit-Filled Life. Romans: 15:13, “Now may the God of Hope fill you with joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” I Peter: 1:13, “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”
When there look like there’s no Hope; Hope is Still Alive. Keep your Hope Alive; and receive your Heart’s Desire. Loving Yourself into Happiness, and Success.
Chapter 15 Grace
E very one of us has been given God’s Grace. We don’t have to work our way into heaven. God’s Grace will do all the work for us. We are saved by the grace of God. Read I Corinthians 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. “Grace is Jesus Christ”. “Grace came through Jesus Christ”. If you want miracles in your life; stop trusting your human efforts, and start trusting God’s Grace. Grace transforms your heart. Grace means that you don’t deserve it; but you’re going to get it. Grace always HELP. Right after the son, Jesus Christ, and before the Holy Spirit there is grace. You can rest, and believe in Jesus for your Grace. So love yourself, because you have Jesus Grace on you; and in you. You have the Favor of God’s Grace on you and in you through Jesus Christ. Jesus is your Grace; He love you, and He will take good care of you. Jesus Grace is sufficient for you. Read II Corinthians 12:9, “And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Jesus grace will come and help you with what you need help with.
@ Grace is there for you when you are hurting; to comfort you, and to heal your pain. @ Grace is there for you to guide you, when you are lost. @ Grace is there for you when you cry, to give you joy. @ Grace is there for you to carry you through the death of a love one. @ Grace is there to forgive you when you sin. @ Grace is there to heat you when you are sick.
@ Grace is there to teach you, and lead you through your financial decisions. @ Grace is there when you travel, to get you from one detonation to your other detonation, safely. @ Grace is there to protect you from all hurt, harm and danger. Grace will show us, and teach us how, to love ourselves.
And with all of the wonderful, magnificent, powerful things about grace; is that it comes from Jesus, to give us His LOVE. When we sin we are forgiven by God’s grace through Jesus Christ. Jesus Grace is here on earth to carry us, and protect us along our journey. So love yourself, because His grace is sufficient for you; which means that it gives us as much as we need or desire. It is providing for you, and helping you. Nothing would be able to survive in this world, without grace. Mankind would be in katas, if we did not have God’s grace here loving us and protecting us. The love that we so disparately need would not be here on earth; the love that we so disparately need for others and for ourselves would not be here on earth, if it has not been for God’s grace through Jesus Christ. It is fearful to image a world without grace, and love; it would be a world of hate, and confusion; all the time, for everyone, and everything. Read Acts 4:33, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.” One of the good things about grace is that we don’t have to do anything to get it, we don’t have to work to deserve it; it is given to us freely by God through the gift of His is Holy, and Divine Son Jesus Christ, and through His perfect, work that finished on the cross. We did not have to impress God or Jesus, or anyone else to receive it; Praise God it is a FREE GIFT. Grace is a free gift from God, and He send His Son Jesus to die on the cross; and sacrifice His life for us, so that we could freely have His GRACE. And it is for everyone; it do not matter who you are, it do not matter, what color or nationality you are. It does not matter if you are rich, or poor. God has no particle person; He loves every one of us. So Love yourself, and know that His grace is sufficient for you; and it will take care of you. Read John 1:16-17, “And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17. For the law was given by Moses, but GRACE and Truth came by JESUS CHRIST.” GRACE IS AMAZING: The Hymn Amazing Grace: is very popular, because grace carries us through so many things in our lives.
Grace carries us through the good times, and the bad times, it carries us through trials, and tribulations. A man name John Newtown was the writer of the famous song: Amazing Grace; He was an English poet, and clergyman, he lived from 1725-1807. He delivered a message to the world showing us that forgiveness, and redemption are possible, regardless of the sin people commit, and that the soul can be delivered from despair through the mercy of God’s “Amazing Grace”. This is one of the most recognized songs in the world. Newtown wrote the song from personal experience; he grew up without any particular religious convictions. He was pressed into the Royal Navy and became a sailor, and eventually a slave trader. One night a terrible storm battered his vessel so severely that he became frightened enough to call out to God for mercy, a moment that marked the beginning of his spiritual conversion. His career in slave trading lasted a few years more until he quit going sea altogether, and began studying theology. John Newtown wrote: How industrious is Satan served. I was formerly one of his active under tempters and had my influence been equal to my wishes, I would have carried the entire human race with me. A common drunkard or profligate is a petty sinner to what I was 1778. BUT: it was God’s AMAZING GRACE that saved him. Read his life story when you can.
THIS IS HIS WONDERFUL SONG:
AMAZING GRACE Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see T was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believe! (Just Believe). Though many dangers, tails, and snares, we have already come: Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and
portion, be as long as life endure.
John Newtown Olney Hymns 1779
That’s a wonder and Glorious example of how Grace can save and delivery a person. And just like grace was always with John Newtown; watching over his, lead and guiding, and protecting him; and loving him, it is doing the same for you and me. Grace has already cleaned our live up through Jesus finish work on the cross. And grace has always loved us; so that we can freely love ourselves and everyone else too. And we can be content with our life. Grace takes away guiled and shame. Grace will make you forgive; and love your enemies. Grace put happiness, and joy in you. So never forget that God’s grace is sufficient for you. Grace is God’s amazing generosity to a world such as this. Some time we don’t desire this grace, but God love us so much that He is giving it to us anyway. “Oh Isn’t He Wonderful”!!! Grace is part of the character of God. Grace is most frequently spoken of as a commodity, which is distributed to you in your time of need. Grace is also distributed to us in our time of want, to provide to us our desirers. Grace is also distributed to us in our time of healing, when we are sick, or in an accident. Grace is distributed to us when we travel. Grace carry us through seen an unseen danger. Grace provides you with manna from heaven, so that you not go hunger. Grace is given to you when you need to take test in school or, on your job. Grace is distributed to you from God, through Jesus saving Grace on the cross. Grace wipes away hurt and pain. Grace wipes away shame and disgrace that try to destroy you, and your dignity. Grace is distributed to you when you make a mistake, and are down and out. Grace carries you through the mistakes that you make. Grace makes you a better person because of those mistakes, if you carry them to God, and leaves them there; and do what you can through God’s word to repent and do the right things in your life. And Grace gives you the courage, and strength to press through everything in your life. And Grace gives you the Love to go through everything in your life. We have to appreciate God’s amazing Grace, more than we do. Grace is a comionate powerful source of love, security, and protection. Many people do
not realize what great power that the grace of God does for us. The Grace of God, Provide All Things For Us. And The Grace of God Do All Things For Us. THANK GOD FOR HIS AMAZING GRACE. Grace is given to us by God, because of His love for us; it’s not something we earn. God gives it to us freely. We couldn’t even begin to understand how to give God enough thanks for all He’s done in our lives that we might receive such a blessings; we cannot past it on to any other person, nor help them to achieve it. Only God can give grace to each person to overcome sin, and death, by faith in Jesus, who was sent through God our Heavenly Father. God’s GRACE supersedes all. We don’t have to try to work our way into heaven; Jesus Christ has done all the work for us. Grace is all around us, just like the air that we breathe is all around us; and it is protecting us in every situation in our life. We don’t have to work ourselves into heaven; God’s grace will do all the work for us. When Jesus body descended back into heaven he filled, and overflowed the earth with God’s Grace, to give us everything that we need. And to carry us through everything that we needed to go through. We are no more under the law; we are now under the Grace. LOVE YOURSELF, BECAUSE YOU HAVE GOD’S AMAZING ALL OVER YOU. And always ; where sin abound, grace abound greater. Don’t let your sins lie to you, and destroy you. God’s love and grace has renewed you. Jesus blood and water has cleansed you and washed you. Romans 5:20-21 “Moreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much abound. 21. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Chapter 16 Mercy
R ead Romans: 12:12 I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. You have the mercy of God on you, so you can LOVE YOURSELF, knowing that God is there for you; to protect you with His Mercy. Read Psalms 23:6, “Surely goodness, and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Blessed assurances, praise be to God, that goodness and Mercy shall follow us all the days of our life. Halleluiah we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever, because of God’s Mercy. There may have been accidents that we may have been in, but God’s mercy protected us. So LOVE YOURSELF. We have so much to love ourselves for; because God love us with his mercy we can easily love ourselves more freely. God’s love is a powerful blessing, which he use to protect us with. Mercy is comion shown toward others, which is a blessing, resulting from divine favor, as a fortunate circumstance to help victims or someone of misfortune. Like God having mercy toward us, who as sinners deserves punishment, and destruction but because of His mercy, he gives us eternal life through Jesus His Son. Read I Peter 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Mercy is a disposition to show kindness, or comion. Mercy implies comion that forbear punishing ever when justice demands it. God have mercy, and forgives us even when we should be punished. When we think and do wrong things; charity stresses benevolence and good will show in broad understanding, and tolerance of others. Clemency implies a mild or merciful disposition in one having the power or duty of punishing. Through God’s mercy, he give us clemency, which is the forgiveness to pardon us from our sins, and unrighteousness.
Mercy is a blessing that is an act of divine favor or comion. God has favor, and comion over us when we need protection, and deliverances from negative and bad situations and problems. So LOVE YOURSELF, because you have God’s Mercy. So if you love God and fear Him, and do the right things, because you are the righteousness of God, His mercy will protect you. His mercy is so loving that it protects us ever when we don’t do the right things. Read Psalms 103:17, “But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteous unto children’s children.” Love the Lord and fear the Lord and His mercy will be there for us to protect us. And it will carry us through everything in our lives. God love us so much, that His Mercy will be there for us all the time; in spice of our carnal ways. God’s Mercy will protector us. Read Matthews 5:7, “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Therefore Love yourself, so that that mercy that you have will obtain mercy for you. Show mercy to others, just like you would love for God to show mercy to you. Love others, help them in any way that you can. what you give to others, in the same manner will be returned to you. God’s mercy is so good, and God want to give us His mercy. I have also though of GRACE and MERCY as being brother and sister; when we sing hymn:
God’s Grace and Mercy
God’s Grace and Mercy, brought me through, I’m living each moment, because of you. I want to thank you, and praise you too; Your Grace and Mercy brought me through.
• God’s Mercy wakes us up each morning. • God’s Mercy gives us the strength to start our day. God’s Mercy carries us through our daily activities.
• God’s Mercy protects us; as we sleep through the night. • God’s Mercy turns away punishment when we sin, through Jesus blood. • God’s Mercy restores us when we repent, and ask for forgiveness. • God’s Mercy understands; and gives to our every need. • God’s Mercy loves us, even when we sin.
Mercy is like a lawyer coming to our defenses, when we are in trouble. Mercy takes our case and atone us, and fix our promise. And Mercy takes the heavy burden off of us.
Read Micah 6:8 He hath showed thee, O man what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. God has showed us what is good; and what He requires of us. God want us to do what is good; He wants us to walk humbly with Him; and God want us to do justly. God want us to love Him, and except His Mercy.
Thank God and His Son Jesus Christ for Their MERCY.
Chapter 17 Joy
R ead Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.” Why did Paul repeat his self when he said, and again I say rejoice? I believe that he repeated himself, because of all that he has been through; and he saw how God brought him through. Paul has gone through a tremendous deal of precaution, and suffering. But through it all he learned how to rejoice continually. He had the strength, from the power and grace, and mercy, and love of God; to love himself enough to press on, and rejoice. He knew that it was a matter of always going onward, and upward in Jesus love, and he needed to forget what lay behind. The righteousness and love of God, and Jesus, that was working in him, would not let him move backward, but it made him move forward. Read Philippians 3:13-14, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul knew that he had to have JOY in himself to be able to be strong enough to continue his journey. Paul had to have the JOY of the Lord in him; and so do you. We have to have the JOY of the Lord in us, so that we will be able to press through every situation that comes into our lives; whether it may be good or bad. Some of us were born with a lot of negative, sad people in our lives; some of us were raised in an abused environment; some of us have had a lot of bad words spoken over us; that have cursed us, and destroyed a lot of good things in our lives. But those bad abusive things can be broken, they can be destroyed. And we can rejoice and be happy. Though the word of God; and through Jesus finish work on the cross, we can be happy and joyful. When we read the bible, and study God’s word, and speak the word of God over our hurts, and sadness; God will restore us with joy unspeakable joy; that joy that es all understanding. Just pray, and believe, and trust in the Lord, and He will give you joy. And when we let God restore our joy, it will be full of his delightful glory. Rejoice in all things, because when you are rejoicing, it ten to keep strife and
augments away from your life. Strife can come from discontentment. When you are discontent, you are most likely to get upset more easily. Most of the time strife and discontentment comes from not having joy, and happiness in our life. People that rejoice are much more likely to treat others with gentleness, and kindness. The love that joy puts into each of us, seem to being out the pure inter goodness that’s in us; which makes us treat ourselves, and others with a great deal of respect and iration. People that’s full of JOY, are most likely to be more successful than people that are unhappy, and lest joyful. Jesus delights in your rejoicing, and he is displeased with your sadness. that the JOY of the Lord is your strength. And He wants to strengthen you with His JOY. Rejoicing people tend to have happier children. Children are more stable, and secure, when they are around happy, Joyous parents. People that are joyful draw more people to them, then people who are not joyful. Most of the time people like to be around people that are happy and joyful. People that are more Joyous have more friends than people that are unhappy, and lest joyous. this true fact that I have learned through experiences; no one like to be around someone that’s always complaining, and being unhappy. And no one likes to be around someone that grumbles, and are sad, and are fussing most of the time, or all of the time. Even unhappy people pull away from unhappy people. People like to be around happy joyful people. Another known fact is that even animals don’t like to be around unhappy people; they are happier when they are around happy, joyful people, and when they are around; and put into a happy joyful environment. So LOVE YOURSELF, and be JOYFUL. Being joyful is good medicine for our soul, spirit, heart, mind, and total body. It’s like a healing ornament that penetrates through the whole body, making you feel good. When someone or something is trying to make you feel bad; try on your part to solve the conversation with peaceful, positive words, and actions. Have you ever notice that when you are unhappy, you get weak, and your energy slow down, you may start sweating, and get nervous. When you get upset and are unhappy, your blood pressure get all out of control; causing you to get sick. Joy is one of the man tools that God want us to have in our lives, and one of the man ways to find love for ourselves is to become joyful; and to enjoy our God given life. the Yellow Bottom of the happy face. (Ask the printer to put the
happy face bottom here.) the saying when you smile the whole world smile with you, but when you frown, you frown alone.
that laughter is medicine to soul.
We know that sometime sadness is unavoidable, especially when we loss a love one; then it’s hard to be joyful. It’s good to cry, and grave for the ones we love. It isn’t good to whole in the hurt that so strongly comes with death. But after you cry, then you can rejoice, because the bible says absent from the body; present with the Lord. So now you can feel better knowing that your love one is with the Lord and that they are in a better place, “So let go and let God!!! Sometime, when our friends and family turn their back on us, when we need them and their it hard to rejoice; but find the strength, and love to rejoice anyway; you will get through the situation, much easier and better. Sometimes when you didn’t get the job that you wanted, and you feel bad, because you didn’t get the job you wanted, that’s understandable; but life goings on; keep on trying, and keep on praying, and keep holding your head up high, and don’t give up. Be Joyful and again be joyful like the bible says in Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.” And God will work everything out, in your favor. When accidents and hardships come; it’s hard to be happy, and joyous, but we need to press our way through our difficult times, and pray, and continue to praise God, He will see us through, and put joy in us again. We cannot let those difficult times make us stop loving ourselves; we cannot let those difficult time destroy us. We must continue to keep the Joy of God in US.
We must continue to LOVE OURSELVES with JOY.
God created our lives to function better when we are joyful, and happy, we think better when we are joyful, and happy. Our lives are more successful when we are
joyful and happy. We have more favor with God and with people when we are joyful and happy. And God is more please with us when we express Loving Joy in our life. So LOVE YOURSELF with JOY. Some people have too much pride to be joyous. Some people think that being hard cord will get them through life just fine. But it is better to humble ourselves with the love, and with joy that God has joyfully put in us. And we must try very hard to be joyful when frustrating, discouraging time come into our lives. As Paul continue to say in Philippians 4:10-13 But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye where also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am therewith to be content.12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strength me. So you can rejoice in knowing that in whatever we go through we can be content, happy, and JOYOUS. If we are full or not full, we can be JOYOUS. If we are hungry or not hungry or not hungry, we can be JOYOUS. Whatever state we are in we can be JOYOUS, because through all things Christ will strengthen us. So rejoice by LOVING YOURSELF. Don’t be unhappy about the bad negative circumstances, and dysfunctional situations that happen in your life. Renew your thinking, renew your mind. Read Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. God and Christ Jesus have great prizes for you in your life, but you will not get them if you do not press toward them. And if you do not enjoy the gifts of God’s word, and teaching through the bible; and if you do not get a closer relationship with Him you may miss out on His prizes for you. If we do not except God’s guides we may very easier destroy a lot of happiness that Jesus redeemed, and atoned for us to have, when he went to the cross for us; so that we could enjoy the JOY of an abundant life. “So keep JOY in your mind” “So keep JOY in your heart” “So keep JOY in your actions” “So keep JOY in you at all times”. And you’ll have a happier life, because if you don’t you may miss out on the prizes, and gifts, of God’s beautiful rewards that He have for you. JOY IS A CHARACTER: Christian Character is produced by the Holy Spirit not
by self-effort. Let JOY come into you by the Holy Spirit, and it will be genuine, fully complete, and full of God’s Glory. Joy is one of the Great Gifts of the; FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. Read GALATIANS 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, faith. 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” When you find God, you will find JOY, unspeakable JOY, full of His Glory, and His Holy Spirit. Read the book of NEHEMIAH where Nehemiah realized that he should not be sorry for the JOY of the Lord is his STRENGTH. Read Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, and eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the JOY of the Lord is, your strength. And the JOY of the Lord is our strength too. So don’t feel bad and sorry all of the time; full your life, and home with joy, and your children, and family, and friends will be happy and JOYFUL.
• Fill your heart with JOY, “And you will always be at peace”. • Fill your mind with JOY, “And you will always be content”. • Fill your emotions with JOY, “And you will be stalely prepared for what life has to bring”. • Fill your giving with JOY, “And you will always be generous”. • Fill your world with JOY, “And you will always see the goodness in it”. • Fill your world with JOY, “And you will always smile the flowers”. • Fill your world with JOY, “And you will always hear the birds sing. • Fill your life with JOY, “And you will be happy and joyful”. • Fill your thoughts with JOY, “And you will always LOVE YOURSELF”. • Fill your life with the JOY of GOD, “And He will give you the DESIRES of YOUR HEART.
Read Ecclesiastes: 3:12-14 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and do good in his life. 14 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour it is the gift of God. Often, it’s harder to be joyful then other times; like for example: when we are confronted with death of a love one. God understands our unhappiness and sadness when a situation like that occurs. At a time when we lose someone dear to us, we should take the time to grieve for them; it is respectful to our love ones, that we them and mourn for their absence. We should follow our religious custom rituals surrounding the death of a love ones. But after we grief, then it is important to that all things work, for the best for them that love the Lord. Read Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” And don’t forget to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. So we can rejoice with those reassurances that our love ones are in the presents of the Lord. And that in itself is enough to put JOY in our hearts, knowing that our love one is with the Lord. Therefore we can still rejoice. It's hard to rejoice when a relationship didn’t go well, and it has to be called off, and the relationship is broken; “with a boyfriend or girlfriend”. But just that time heal all things; and life going on. So cry for a minute, than go on with your life; (Press ON). (Carry ON). Don’t worry, be HAPPY. It’s OK to grieve, for a little while; but don’t grieve for long, shake the hurt. Pray to God to restore your joy. You only have to forgive the hurt, and the person that hurt you. Then put on a happy face, and breathe in the love, and JOY, and strength of God; and breathe in the strength of Jesus redemption, and let Him put the JOY back in your heart and mind and spirit. And go on with your life, with joy; hold your head up high, and put a pep in your step, knowing that God will work everything out for the good. And know that He loves you and that He will never leave you or forsake you. SO LOVE YOURSELF WITH JOY, BEFORE YOU DESTROY YOURSELF. It’s hard to be joyful when you didn’t get the job that you were so excited about; but just keep on trying to get another job. The key is to, “not give up”. Cheer up; put the smile back on your face. Pray to God, keep trusting in Him, and He will bless you with something, just as good, or something even better. Read Psalms 89:15-16, “Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they
shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. 16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.” God bless us when we know joyful sounds, and we shall walk in the light of His countenance. God will be with us; so therefore let us love ourselves, by rejoicing. And He will exalt us; so rejoice and live life to the fullest. We should rejoice in our laboring; rejoice in what you accomplish in your life; by showing a burst of emotional energy of encouragement of ourselves, and enthusiasm of joy about our work, for the successful jobs that we appreciate. Read Ecclesiastes 3:22, “Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?” So let us LOVE OURSELVES in our own work. Hold your head up high.

Chapter 18 Believe
Y ou always have to BELIEVE first and see later. all things a possible if you only BELIEVE. Definition of BELIEVE -Accept something as pure; to accept something is true or real-accept somebody as truthful: to accept that somebody is telling the truth-to credit somebody with something: to accept that somebody or something has a particular quality or ability-think that something exists. In searching farther into the definition of the meaning of BELIEVE; I discovered more knowledge and understanding about the meaning of BELIEVE, and what it is all about; and what a significant impact that it has on us and our lives. To BELIEVE is a very powerful tool that is given to us; to receive many blessings for our abundant life; from our Heavenly Father God, and from our Savior Jesus Christ. We have to BELIEVE what the word of God say for Him to move, and manifest in our life. Jesus said in John 3:12, “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you heavenly things?” Listen “READERS” it’s so very, very important that we BELIEVE. When we want to see something accomplished in our lives we have to BELIEVE IN IT. We have to BELIEVE that we can do all things through Christ whom strengthen us. We have to BELIEVE in our faith in God. We have to BELIEVE IN OURSELVES. BELIEVING in GOD is very important. The people that don’t BELIEVE perish, and as he live through this life he struggle. And people that do not believe in God perish. Read John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Eternal life is taken away from a person; that does not BELIEVE. It is hard for us to success in life if we do not believe. It is hard for us to successfully complete a taste that we try to accomplish if we don’t believe. It is hard for our performance to be good, and correct; at what we’re trying to accomplish if we don’t believe. If we don’t believe in what we inquire into doing, most of the time; we destroy the entire mission. We have to believe in
what we set out to do, if we want it to be successful. We have to BELIEVE in God, and BELIEVE in what Jesus say, and we will not perish. And whatever we do will have life in it. And we will give our situation and performance the victory. And our situation and performance will not perish. And we will have a better abundant life; and we will not perish; and even better we will have eternal life. The word say whosoever BELIEVE; so that means that we have to BELIEVE. Before we can have faith in anything we have to BELIEVE first. Faith began with believing. We have to BELIEVE, and have FAITH, and TRUST in your heart that God will answer what you BELIEVE for. It’s very important that you “BE A BELIEVER”. God do not want you to waver or be double minded; He want you to BELIEVE, with all your heart, mind, and soul that He will answer your every prayer, and your every desire. Read James 1:6-8, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7. For let not that man think that he shall RECEIVE any thing of the Lord. 8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Therefore we have to “BELIEVE TO RECEIVE”. You can not waver, and we cannot be double minded. So LOVE YOURSELF enough to BELIEVE. There was a movie that was made in the 1985 that’s call “BACK TO THE FUTURE”. Michael J Fox was the star; and his father was; I guess, I have to say that he was somewhat of a wimp. But when Michael went back to the future, “back in time” and met his father, he encouraged him that he could do anything; that he wanted to do, as long as he put his mind to it. With those encouraging words planted into Michael’s father’s mind, the SEED OF BELIEVETH WAS PLANTED IN HIM. His believeth in his self-became stronger; and that rooted out a lot of wavering and doubt. And that changed his entire mind, which later changed his entire life. And the BELIEVETH that developed in him changed the way he fell, and thought about himself; and it gave him strength, and power, that lend to victory in his life. That was the beginning of his life, and future being better, for himself and for his family. When Michael came back to his original life, and everyone and everything was living a happier, successful more abundant life; much better then when the movie begin; all, because his father renewed his way of thinking, from disbelief into believeth. So put your mind into the believeth mode, and that will take a lot of stress, and struggles out of your life. I encourage you to buy the movie; and watch it, I’m sure you’ll like it.
Let’s Start From the Beginning Most of the children in the world were not born dumb. Most of the children in the world were not born stupid. Most of the children in the world that don’t believe that they can accomplish the things that they sit out to do are, because they were raise with a lot of negative words, from their parents, and caregivers. Most children were not thought to have confident in themselves. Most children were not thought to have faith, in themselves. Most children were not given the encouragement that they needed to have. The older I get the more I have a problem with a phrase that people say. The phrase that I hear people say is “I DID THE BEST I COULD” Okay that’s a highly true statement, but most of the people that I hear say that statement, are people that did not raise their children up in the BELIEVETH and the iration of God; and most of those children were not raise up with the inspiration of God, and His divine revelation. Most of them did not encourage their children, with the believeth that they could do all things through Christ whom strength them. Most parents did not take the time to instill in their children that they should strongly believe that they should have confident in themselves; and that they should not cast their confident away, because it will give them GREAT REWARDS; they were not told to BELIEVE with all their heart, that God Love them, and if they only BELIEVE, and TRUST Him, that HE would never leave them, or forsake them. Some parents did not tell their children to only BELIEVE that Jesus did a finish work on the cross so that they would be save, and delivered from all strugglers that they had to face; they were not told that all they had to do was to pray to God in the name of Jesus, and to read His words, from the Bible, over their life; and over any problem that they have; and just have FAITH, and BELIEVE, and He will “Fix It” and give them a wonderful victory over their situation. Some people were never told to BELIEVE, that they are the righteousness of God, and they grow up with the bad feelings of being inferior, and sad, and lost, so they have low self-esteem, that low self-esteem holds them back from accomplishing good happy stable loving lives; mainly because they didn’t believe. Some children are never told to believe that they are just as good as everyone else in the world; some children are told that they are no good, and they are told that they are not as good as other children, or other people; “AND YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!!!!! CHILDREN BELIEVE, what their parents, and caregivers tell them.” If a parent, or caregiver tell a child a worldly, untruly lie they will BELIEVE it; but if you tell them the righteous Godly true, they will BELIEVE it. So parent, and caregivers teachers
your children to BELIEVE in what the Bible say about them, and teach them to BELIEVE in themselves. And teach them to BELIEVE in how to have faith, and trust in God and follow Him, and do what say. If we just BELIEVE, and do not waver, we will be happier, stronger people; and we will have a more successful comfortable life. Read James 1:6, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind, and tossed.” So LOVE YOIURSELF, and BELIEVE in yourself; so that you will not be like the waver of the sea, and driven with the winds, and tossed. When we are temped with varies trials in our lives we have to BELIEVE that we can continue to stand on the word of God’s promises; and know, and BELIEVE that we will RECEIVE the CROWN of life. Read James 1:12, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that Love him.” So when someone, or something try to temp you with something that’s wrong, BELIEVE in the right way, and do what is right, and BELIEVE in your desires and dreams, BELIEVE in God’s word, and you will make the right decisions, and you will receive the success, and you’ll do it. When you LOVE THE LORD you will get His promises. Read Mark 1:23 Jesus said unto, him, If thou canst BELIEVE all things are possible to him that believeth. Read These Scriptures about BELIEVE To Help Strength Your Believeth God want you to BELIEVE in Him. Read Psalms 78:21-22 Therefore the Lord heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel; 22. Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
Jesus want you to BELIEVE in His Healing. Read Matthews 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Matthews 9:28-31, “And when he was come unto the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29. Then touch he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straightly charged them, saying, see that no man know it. 31. But they, when they were
departed, spread aboard his fame in all that country. Because they BELIEVED they were healed.”
God want to know why you do not BELIEVE. He is concern about our disbelief. He want us to BELIEVE. Read Matthews 21:25, “The baptism of John, whence was it? From heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, if we shall say, from heaven; he will say unto us, why did ye not then believe him.” Mark 11:31, “And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, from heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him.”
When you pray Jesus want you to BELIEVE. Read Mark 11:24-26 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. But you have to forgive. Mark 25, “And when ye stand praying forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you your treses.” And that forgiveness come with everything; we also have to forgive before we can purely, and truly believe. Mark 26, “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your treses.” God sent John The Baptist to bear witness of the Light, that all man though Jesus might BELIEVE. John 1:7-8, “The same came a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe. 8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.” John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. When you believe in the scriptures, in Jesus Name you will see miracles which He will do. Such as for example: “making a way out of no way”; and delivering you from your trials and tribulations. John 2:22-23, “When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples ed that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scriptures, and the word which Jesus had said. 23. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the over, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.”
God Love us so much; That He want us to BELIEVE, so we will not perish. Read John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:17-18, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Jesus want us to BELIEVE so that we will not be condemn. And so that we will be saved. Read John 3:18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”
Jesus wants us to BELIEVE his written word. Read John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words. BELIEVE IN THE WORK OF GOD, AND ON HIS SON WHOM HE SENT. John 6:28-30, “Then said they unto him, what shall we do, that we might work the works of Gods? 29. Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. 30. They said therefore unto him, what sign showiest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? What dost thou work?”
Jesus want us to BELIEVE that he is our bread of life. And we will never go hunger, or be thirst if we believe in him. John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. 38. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 10: 37-
38, “If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.” BELIEVE in the word of the Lord, and you will have life and never die. Read John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26. And whosoever liveth, and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Your heart will not be troubled if you only BELIEVE IN GOD. Read John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. “BELIEVE JESUS”.
You are blessed when you do not see: “But You BELIEVE”. John: 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hath believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (Don’t be a doubting Thomas). Read Galatians 3:22, “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.” Galatians 4:7, “Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, than an heir of God through Christ.”
It is impossible to please God if you don’t BELIEVE, GOD with Faith. Read Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. KEEP ON TRUSTING AND BELIEVING GOD.” READ MATTHEW 21:22 IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL RECEIVE WHATEVER YOU ASK IN PRAYER.
LOVE YOURSELF, BY BELIEVING IN GOD, AND BELIEVING IN YOURSELF Believe in God.
Believe in Yourself. Believe in the Love you have for God. Believe in the Confidents that you have in you. Believe in your Self-Esteem. Believe in your Understanding. Believe in your Wisdom. Believe in your Self-Control.
BELIEVE!!! BELIEVE!!! BELIEVE!!!
Chapter 19 Prosperity
G od want us to prosper, and be in good health even as our soul prospers. Read 3 rd John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, ever as thy soul prospereth. God want us to live a good comfortable Christian life. One of the ways we can live a good comfortable life is to learn how to be good stewards with our resources, and money; and what we are given to survive off of. God want us to give; it is one of the way’s He use to return His blessing to us. Read Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; Good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your blossom, for with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. So it is very important that we give, because when we give we can receive better. When we give it’s like planting a seed into the ground. God want us to plant a seed into His Kingdom, or into a needy person, or into a needy place, or into a needy source in the world; and when we plant our seed God will return our given seed back to us, and we will prosper from it. Read Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? So if you be a wise steward God will give you your meat in due season. Read Malachi 3:10, “Bring the whole titles (the 10th) into the store house, so that there may be food in your house, and test Me now in this, says the lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing until it overflows.” NOTE-Not just one window but He said windows; with a S (PLURAL). READ MATTHEWS 25:14-30 THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS. USE YOUR TALENTS WISELY AND YOU WILL BE GREATLY BLESSED. God want us to be good stewards so that we can live a more abundant life. Read John 10:10 I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. But we have to obey all of Gods commandments, also to have our abundant life; therefore we have to obey Luke 6:38 and Malachi 3:10. And
God will supply all of your needs. Read Philippians 4:19 But God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. NOTE-Not just some of your needs, but He will supply all of your needs. The Abundant Life-Into Prosperity as spoken from the Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. THE TERM “ABUNDANT LIFE” come from the Bible verse John 10:10 “I come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly, “NOTE-MORE ABUNDANTLY” mean to have superabundance of a thing. “Abundant life” refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body and soul. “Abundant life” signifies a contrast to feeling of lack, emptiness, and dissatisfaction, and such feelings may motivate a person to seek for the meaning of life and a change of life. Abundant life teaches that God is a good God who wants to bless people spiritually, physically, and economically. Abundant lives for a person begin with a new relationship with God, new motivation, and a new relationship with mankind. The process of Christian maturity for that person continues with learning to live abundantly, being cleansed from sin, and learning to fight spiritual battles. Abundant life teaches prosperity and health for the total human being, including the body, mind, emotional, relationships, material needs, and eternal life. The Bible, “the good news” (Christianity), and salvation are essential elements to those teachings. Other elements are faith, prayer, evangelism, and concern for human worth in the areas of spiritual oppression, poverty, disease, hunger, injustice, and ignorance. In order for these teachings to have an impact on a person’s fullness of life, it is essential for that person to alien their goals with Gods goals. Abundant life teaching may include expectations of physical and material prosperity, and good health, and well-being, but it may also include other forms of fullness of life, including eternal life, For a Christian, fullness of life is not measured in of “fun and living large”, or in of wealth, prestige, position, and power, but in of fulfilled lives of responsibility and selfrestraint, and the rewards, and blessings that accuse over a lifetime of pleasing God. The Bible has promises of wealth, health, and well-being, but these promises are conditional promises. According to James 1:17 God gives only good and perfect gifts, so God only gives gifts and blessings that are compatible with that person’s abilities, and God’s goals for that person. The source of abundant life is the Spirit of God. In Galatians 5:22-23, “the fruit of the spirit is LOVE, PEACE, LONGSIFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE.” A Christian is a person who is a person who has the spirit of God. Read Romans 8:9 But ye are not in
the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his. “Received according to the Biblical formula” Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Becoming a Christian means a change to a different way of life with a different purpose. I like the song that; Tremayne Hawkins sing: A WONDERFUL CHANGE HAS COME OVER ME. If you haven’t hear it I recommend that you get it and listen to it. I believe you’re like it too. Becoming a Christian means a change to a different way of life with a different purpose. Fulfilling this purpose and experiencing abundant life go together, as described by Matthews 6:33, “But seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
BEING A GOOD AND WISE STEWARD IN ORDER TO PROSPER… ACCORDING TO RESEARCH I OBTAINED FROM THE INTERNET, the Bible (The Word of God) says, we are to owe no man nothing but to love him. Read Romans 13:8, “Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”
GODLY STEWARDSHIP… What the Bible teaches concerning stewardship. Everyone who diligently studies the word of God will soon come to the realization that his TITHES, TALENTS, and TIME belong to the Lord.
THE STEWARDSHIP OF OUR TITHE What is the TITHE? TITHE-It mean TENTH. The word of God teaches that every Christian should bring their tithe to the church because “one tenth” of what we earn belongs to God. The Lord demands and deserves the first fruit of all we have Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruit o all thy increase. 10. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy
presses shall burst out with new wine.
THE TITHE IS A DEBT WE OWE TO GOD. The word of God declares that “the tithes is the Lord’s”. Leviticus 27:30-32, “And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is Holy unto the Lord. 31 And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add there to the fifth part thereof. 32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flack, even of whatsoever eth under the rob; the tenth shall be Holy unto the Lord. WOW (SMILE) when we give our tithe it become HOLY. PRAISE GOD, LORD JESUS.”
THE TITHE IS A DEFINITE PART OF OUR WORSHIP The first form of worship in the Old Testament was giving. Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect for Abel and to his offering. The first form of worship in the New Testament was giving. Matthews 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his Mother and fell down, and worshipped him; and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
WHY SHOULD WE TITHE? The obedient Christian tithe in order to please the Lord, and fulfill His Commandments. ABRAHAM TITHED 400 YEARS BEFORE THE LAW WAS GIVEN. Genesis 14:20, “And bless be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies unto thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.” MOSES INCORPORATED THE TITHES INTO LAW. Leviticus 27:30, “And all the tithes of the Land, whether of the seed of the Land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is Holy unto the Lord.” GOD COMMANDS THE TITHES. Malachi 3:7-10 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinance, and have not kept them, Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said wherein shall we return? 8. Will a man rob
God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
JESUS APPROVED THE TITHES. Matthews 23:23, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithes of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the others undone.” GOD GAVE HIS BEST FOR US, AND WE SHOULD DO NO LESS FOR HIM. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Where should we pay our Tithes? The scripture teaches us to “bring the tithes to the storehouse”. I Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gathering when I come. The storehouse is the place of worship, which during the age of grace is the Local Church. Mark 12:41-44 Jesus tells of the widow that gave all that she had. 41. And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Very I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44. For all they did cast in of their abundance: but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. The widow gave to the church all that she had; she loves God and the church very much, and that please Jesus. We must give in a great way also; so Jesus will be happy with our giving. The tithes is the only method God has ordained to finance the church. Christ commissioned the church to teach and preach the gospel to the entire world, and the only way this can be done is for Christians to tithe their income to the church. And you will prosper by giving.
God’s principles of Prosperity. God has all the wealth in the world. I Chronicles 29:11-14 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 12. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. 13. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. 14. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
God will enable us to give, if we trust Him. II Corinthians 9:6-15, “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
Every man according as he purposed in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9. (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth forever. 10. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11. Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 12. For the istration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; 13. Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; 14. And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. 15. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. God’s key to getting, is in giving. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom, For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Mark 10:28-30, Then Peter began to say unto
him, lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and the gospel’s. 30. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come to come eternal life.
THE STEWARDSHIP OF OUR TALENT. God gives all Christians talents and abilities to use for His work. READ Luke 19:11-27. Pounds represents talents. Every person has the ability to serve Christ in some capacity, and should use it in the ministry of the church. Whatever a person’s talent is, there is a place for all who are willing to serve. READ Matthew 9:37-38, “Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
THE STEWARDSHIP OF TIME. The child of God should be aware of the time. Read Romans 13:11 And that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The believer should redeem the time. Ephesians 5:14-17, “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. 16. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” The Christian time is not his own. I Corinthians 6: 19-20 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. 20. For ye are brought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
