CARGA EQUIVALENTE DEFINICIÓN.

Es un sistema de cargas externas aplicado sobre el elemento, el cual produce un efecto equivalente al del tendón de presfuerzo. El efecto de un cambio en el alineamiento vertical de un tendón de presfuerzo produce una fuerza vertical en el elemento de concreto. Esta fuerza, junto con la fuerza de presfuerzo que actúa en los extremos del elemento a través de los anclajes del tendón, se puede analizar como un sistema de cargas externas equivalentes. METODO DE DISEÑO POR BALANCEO DE CARGAS Este método consiste en equilibrar con el postensado las cargas externas aplicadas al elemento, ya sean cargas distribuidas o puntuales. Este equilibrio se realiza mediante la carga equivalente cuyo valor deberá ser igual a las cargas externas que queremos balancear. Por consiguiente :

Donde:  y  = Porcentajes definidos por el diseñador

El Dr. B. O. Aalami (USA), recomienda balancear: Losas = 60% a 80% de la Carga Muerta total = 60%-80%(Wpp+Wd) Vigas = 80% a 110% de la Carga Muerta total = 80%-110%(Wpp+Wd) Al Balancear aproximadamente casi todas las cargas permanentes, la sobrecarga es tomada con la carga axial remanente. MOMENTOS GENERADOS POR EL PRESFUERZO EN ELEMENTOS HIPERESTATICOS El efecto del presfuerzo genera los Momentos Primarios y Momentos Secundarios cuya suma algebraica da como resultado los Momentos totales Momentos Primarios:

Son aquellos generados por el producto de la fuerza de presfuerzo y por la excentricidad del tendón con respecto al eje neutro para cada sección del elemento. Momentos Secundarios ó Hiperestaticos:

Los momentos de 2do orden son generados por las reacciones producidos en los apoyos de las vigas por efecto del presfuerzo. Momentos Totales:

CALCULO INDIRECTO DE MOMENTOS SECUNDARIOS Para el Cálculo de los Momentos Secundarios (Msec) ó Momentos Hiperestáticos (Mhyp), hacemos uso de los momentos resultantes de la Carga Equivalente aplicada (Mc_equiv), que se obtiene usando cualquier software, al cual se le restan los Momentos Primarios (Mprim) obtenidos de multiplicar la fuerza axial en cada sección por la excentricidad del tendón en dicha sección.
