The Android-x86 project is glad to announce cm-x86-13.0-r1, the first stable release of CyanogenMod 13.0 porting for Android-x86. The prebuilt images are available in the following site: http://www.android-x86.org/ https://osdn.net/rel/android-x86/android-x86/CM%20Release%2013.0 Key Feat ures The cm-x86-13.0-r1 is a porting of CM 13.0 to the Android-x86 platform as the BSP. Based on the Android-x86 6.0-r2 and the latest CM 13.0, it includes almost all the features from the two open source projects. Released Files This release contains four files: 32-bit ISO: cm-x86-13.0-r1.iso sha1sum: d9d3486f0dd389fc10b1bf7ad75e32170a3ea8f7 64-bit ISO: cm-x86_64-13.0-r1.iso sha1sum: 1297a2891b7d0e820c4ec0495c2d28fe27c4bae9 32-bit rpm: cm-x86-13.0-r1.i686.rpm sha1sum: b6f57fa15d67907f3366bb89d6e51545c939e65e 64-bit rpm: cm-x86-13.0-r1.x86_64.rpm sha1sum: 8da29adbc66fcb40ad5e658525493c1613c064ac Except the traditional ISO files, we also provided android-x86 files as a Linux package rpm. It allows Linux s to easily install the release into an existing Linux device with a standalone ext4 root partition. On an rpm based device (Fedora/Red Hat/CentOS/...), just install it like a normal rpm package: $ sudo rpm -ivh cm-x86 -13.0 -r1.x86 _6 4.rpm
All files will be installed to the /cm-x86 -13.0 -r1/ subdirectory and a boot entry will be added to grub2 menu. Reboot and choose cm-x86 item from the menu to enter the system. To uninstall it: $ sudo rpm -e cm-x86
On a deb based device (Debian/Ubuntu/LinuxMint/...), please use the alie n tool to install it: $ sudo apt install alie n $ sudo alie n -ci cm-x86 -13.0 -r1.x86 _6 4.rpm
To use an ISO file, Linux s could just dump the it into a usb drive to create a bootable usb stick like $ dd if=cm-x86 _6 4-13.0 -r1.iso of=/de v/sdX
where /de v/sdX is the device name of your usb drive. Windows's s can use the tool UNetbootin to create a bootable usb stick.
