The Low-income Monthly Transit is a discounted monthly adult transit for Calgarians with incomes lower than 75% of the Low-income Cut Off (LICO) rate as set by the Federal Government. To qualify, you must: • be a resident of Calgary. • be 18 years of age or older. • provide photo identification. • have an income lower than 75% of LICO. Proof of income is required. You must provide a copy of your current Notice of Assessment that you receive back after your annual income tax return is filed. To apply, go to the Calgary Transit Customer Service Centre at 224 – 7th Ave. S.W. es can only be purchased at the Calgary Transit Customer Service Centre, City Hall Cashiers – Third Floor Municipal Building, Village Square Leisure Centre and Southland Leisure Centre. There are three types of information you can access to help you use Calgary Transit. • • •

Public Safety and Enforcement Calgary Transit’s Public Safety and Enforcement unit ensures customer safety by providing a presence 24 hours/day, seven days a week on transit property, including buses, CTrains, stations, platforms, and enger shelters and stops. Uniformed Peace Officers provide assistance to customers and Transit employees, issue summonses, and arrest persons for outstanding warrants and those found committing criminal offences.

Press 1 - to obtain current bus times (the next two or three buses). Call every day. Teleride tells you if there are any delays on your route caused by detours, construction, weather or traffic.

All customers must produce a valid ticket, transfer, permit or at the request of a Calgary Transit Operator or a Public Safety and Enforcement Peace Officer. Stay Clean Keep Calgary Transit clean and comfortable by not eating, drinking, littering, having your feet or backpack on the seat, or defacing Transit property. Be Respectful Take the comfort of other customers into consideration by acting appropriately and with respect. Butt Out No person shall carry a lit cigarette, cigar, or pipe or burn tobacco in any way on, in, or within one metre of Transit property including: • Transit vehicles • enger shelters • Transit stations • Transit platforms
