Blood Transfusion Service A good Blood Transfusion Service should ensure three things: 1. Quantity - that blood availability meets the demand.  2. Quality - that the blood meets certain Safety standards. 3. Accessibility - that the blood is available when and where it is required.

How will “AYUSH” fit into the scenario: 1. Quantity: -. We will constantly strive to increase the blood collection meet the growing demand. 2. Quantity: -. Exclusively from voluntary blood donors; no replacement donors. -. Stringent Quality Management System for processes, procedures, ensuring safety. -. All the blood will be collected and issued as different blood components

Accessibility: -We will be working 24/7. -We wont demand replacement donations.  -For hospitals located far away, we will pick up patient samples and supply blood components at their doorstep. -We supply blood components in bulk to our blood storage centres in different hospitals. -We will arrange for Voluntary blood donation camps for Government hospitals. 

Making “AYUSH” better than everyone: • Blood will be collected from altruistic, Voluntary blood donors only. • We will follow a strict Pre-donation counselling & screening process. • Every unit of blood collected is screened for Transfusion Transmissible Infections such as HIV 1&2, Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis & Malaria, and all the other blood related issues. • Traceability from vein-to-vein will be ensured. • BOONDH: A software that will be entirely dedicated to AYUSH for all the information. • Automation: tests will be done using fully automated systems in order to minimize human errors and all the results will be ed on the BOONDH.

Access to Blood : • Working 24X7 to cater everyone who needs us. • We will issue blood components in bulk to our satellite blood storage centres. • Special Donors Club. • Special Helpline Numbers .

Outsourcing that will be required: • A software developer for BOONDH . • A marketing personnel to make people aware about AYUSH. • An App Developer for all the hospitals in the town. • An developer for IMS i.e. an Instant Message Service in case of emergencies.
