Engine Tuning We have available ECU software programmes for both the 16 valve and 8 valve engines. Cars fitted with the “Sport” switch are supplied with two ECU maps. On the 16 valve engine the first map provides 160bhp with 275lb/ft of engine torque. With the “Sport” button on there is 195bhp with 330lb/ft torque. The 8 valve engine has 130bhp and 220lb/ft torque in standard mode, 170bhp and 280lb/ft torque with “sport” button on.

Braking Systems For the driver who wants more stopping power, VXRacing have developed a front brake package using a Monobloc directly opposed 4-Pot brake caliper, with a single piece, large diameter (335mm x 30mm) ventilated disc, high friction brake pads complete the kit.

Suspension Systems Change the look and handling of you car with the VXRacing Level 1 Suspension Kit. Consisting of a matched set of lowering springs and sport dampers, the car is lowered (with an enhanced rake) by slightly over 30mm. The ride although slightly harder than standard is still an everyday acceptable option.

Fully Fitted Price £562.00 For extra owner flexibility we also have available the VXRacing Level 2 Suspension Kit. Being adjustable in Height, Rebound and Bump this package can meet your exact driving requirement. Easy “on-car” adjustments can give quick changes from an optimum circuit set-up back to normal road use. Wheel and Tyre Packages Continuing on the racing theme, VXRacing have chosen to supply a 18” x 8” Direct Bore, Lightweight and Heat Treated motorsport specification wheel. With these extra strength wheels, we are able to use the open multi-spoke design that will also aid brake cooling. These wheels are available in either Satin Black or Sparkle Anthracite and come with the VXR centre cap. Tyres - As a package, our preference is to use the Toyo 235/40 ZR 18 Proxes T1-R road tyre, or for extreme driving and track use, we use the road legal Toyo 235/40 ZR 18 Proxes R888 track-day tyre.
