As I've read the short story "Voice Tape" by Ariel S. Tabag, I've drawn out that it could be realistic (although they may say that it is Fictional) but for me i think it is Non - Fictional. I believe that this story happened in true life or maybe there could be instances that the author would like to present a believeable human experience just like Angkel Ato's suffered from deep sadness when his wife goes to the Abu Dhabi to be a OFW and deppression due to the voice tape that his wife send to him with the topic on it that his wife in Abu Dhabi was maltreated by her master. In real life situation, OFW's are going to work in different countries able to sustain the needs of his/her own family. Their family that left behind here at this country, may feel the "missing part of their family". I believe that every Filipino experience this kind of story, that's why the author made this one astonishing story to portray the difficult life of a family with a member of a OFW in their home.
