1 - INTRODUCTION TO THIS MANUAL 1.1

Danger It is used to indicate dangerous situations to personnel and dispenser.

Introduction Important It is used to indicate operations that, if performed, preserve the good operation of the dispenser.

Important This publication is integral part of the dispenser and must be read thoroughly. It contains information concerning installation, maintenance and proper use of the D.A/ 8P dispenser for both STANDARD and INSTANT versions. Topic referring only to one version will be highlighted.

2 - GENERAL INFORMATION

Always refer to this publication before any operation. Important Most of the figures show D.A. 8P STANDARD model but they also refer to D.A. 8P INSTANT model. When necessary, both figures will be shown.

The vending machine is intended for automatic distribution of coffee and hot beverage, and it is programmable for every single type of dispensing dosage.

In case of necessity or damage the Distributor or your Importer, or directly the Manufacturer when there are no importers.

AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES are available for every explanation and information concerning the operation of the vending machine and to satisfy requests of parts supply or technical service.

The Manufacturer reserves the right to improve the vending machine without prior notice.

Vending machine intended use

With the D.A. 8P vending machine it is possible to program automatic dispensing of: - espresso coffee made with instantly-ground coffee beans (Standard version); - beverage based on lyophilised and soluble products (coffee, chocolate, milk, tea, etc.); - accessories for the beverage (cup, sugar and stirrers); - hot water to prepare beverages. Important

In the event of improper use, any warranty will be cancelled and the manufacturer declines any responsibility for injury to people and/or damage to property.

It is considered improper use: - any use different from that intended and/or with techniques different from those indicated in the publication; - any service on the vending machine which is in contrast with the instructions of this publication; - any use after tampering components and/or after alterations of safety devices; - installation outside the vending machine.

4 - SAFETY

Handling

4.1

The manufacturer protects the vending machine with a plastic bag and angle bars located to both sides to protect corners, the unit being placed in cardboard packages on which first warnings are printed. The package lays on a wooden pallet fastened to the unit by means of plastic straps. · During handling and transport, the vending machine has to stay in vertical position according to the instructions printed on the package. · Carefully lift and position the vending machine using means being adequate to the load to handle. · Do not lift vending machine using the grip on package sides. · Do not shake vending machine.

Read carefully this publication before using the vending machine.

·

It is absolutely prohibited to deactivate the safety system installed on the vending machine.

·

Vending machine cleaning and maintenance have to be performed with the main switch (ref. 36, fig. 1) in position “0” ; or after pulling the plug from the socket (ref. 35, fig. 1).

·

Do not try to open or force protection plates and s. If necessary, our Sales Organisation.

·

Do not modify by yourself vending machine parts; if you do, the Manufacturerís responsibility will be waived.

·

Never direct water jets to the vending machine.

·

Never spill fluids of any kind on the vending machine.

·

Do not immerse the vending machine in water.

Storage ·

Vending machine is contained in a cardboard package on wooden pallet (see fig. 4). Danger Due to the total package weight, it is prohibited to pile up more than two vending machines.

·

Vending machine has to be stored, in its original package, in dry and/or clean places.

4.2

General safety rules

Operator requirements

For vending machine safety and good operation you need two different operators with different requirements:

Maintenance technician Skilled person in charge of the installation, adjustment, maintenance and technical assistance of the vending machine. He is the only person authorised to keep the “key to activate safety microswitch” (ref. A, fig.5) which allows to deactivate the security system.

Supply operator Person in charge of ordinary start-up and stopping, loading, coin collection and internal and external cleaning of the vending machine. If he notices vending machine malfunctioning he has to request the assistance of the Maintenance technician. Vending machine . He is NOT allowed to perform services that normally are performed by a Supply operator or Maintenance technician. If he notices a malfunctioning in the vending machine he can request the assistance of a Supply operator.

Installed safety devices

All elements that can be source of danger, are placed inside the vending machine. -

A microswitch (ref. 32, fig. 5) automatically turns off the power supply when front door is open. It is possible to deactivate the microswitch by inserting the key (ref. A, fig. 5) Danger Deactivation of safety microswitch is allowed to Maintenance technicians only. 36 fig. 6 A

Control keypad (ref. 3, fig. 1) It is made of 12 keys whose function changes according to a phase variation (ordinary or programming) in which the vending machine is. Each pressing of keys comes with a beep. 99588.05

Dispensing phase In this phase of normal operation, keys, if pressed, execute the following operations:

Efficiency control safety microswitch

With the vending machine on, open front door and check that display (ref. 2, fig. 1) and lights on the Control switchboard go off (ref.3, fig. 1). Their turning off indicates that the vending machine is not working and that the microswitch is efficient.

5 - CONTROLS AND EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION Important

The vending machine is delivered with dispensing keys already programmed on standard values.

E ENTER Key- “Decaffeinated” (fig. 7) It replaces coffee beans (Standard version) or instant coffee (Instant version), with decaffeinated coffee. Press the key before selecting the beverage. In case of error, press the key again. C CANCEL Key - “Cup” It dispenses or not a cup according to programming set in CUP SELLING “C G” function (see “7- Programming, 7.4 Description of menus” ). According to selected setting you have to insert the proper WITHOUT CUP EMPTY CUP label (“W P” or “E P” ). The key then has two different functions: WITHOUT CUP - “W P” Pressed key Cup is NOT dispensed Insert your cup into dispensing slot Key NOT pressed Cup is automatically dispensed -

Main controls

Main switch (ref. 36, fig. 6) It is located in the rear side of vending machine, bottom right. In “I” position it turns on vending machine (enables electric functions). In “O” position turns off vending machine (disables electric functions).

Internal controls

They are service controls installed on the electronic card (inner portion of front door) and have the following function:

Red light (fig. 8) It indicates, flashing, that the electronic card is active.

Service controls (ref. 17, fig. 1)

Dispensing lights (ref. SP, fig. 7) Near some keys (A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H - “ENTER” “CANCEL” keys) 2 lights are located; they are indicating: - red light on disabled dispensing; - green light on enabled dispensing - green light flashing preselection activated Display (ref. 2, fig. 7) Made of 2 lines of 20 characters each, it displays messages concerning operations (in progress or to be done) and possible out-of-service conditions.

Programming Key/Sugar refill (fig. 8) When individually pressed it allows switching programming mode on or off. When simultaneously pressed along with TS5, it allows to refill the sugar dispensing channel (ref. 21, fig. 1).

Important Press and hold TS5 FIRST and only then press TS1.

TS2

Free Key/Reset (fig. 8) Its function varies according to vending machine service condition. When it is pressed and held, in normal service condition, dispenses a free beverage. When it is pressed and held in out of service condition, allows to display the message indicating the type of cur-

rent out-of-service condition. If pressed a second time it presets the vending machine for normal service (“Out of service” reset).

6 - INSTALLATION

Important

If pressed after each vending machine start-up, it allows to by warming phase and reach directly the “M A C H I N E R E A D Y” condition, therefore speeding the vending machine setup. TS3

Danger The presence of magnetic fields or vicinity of electric machines that generate disturbance, could cause malfunctioning to the vending machine electronic control. Important

Water Circuit Refill Key (fig. 8) A short pressure recalls the water until the rinsing of first mixer. To perform mixers rinsing cycle and then water circuit refill, you need to hold it down. By releasing the key the cycle will be interrupted.

Cup Dispensing Key/Cup dispensing tube rotation (fig. 8) If pressed singularly it dispenses a cup. If pressed simultaneously with TS5, it makes the cup dispensing tube rotate.

It is forbidden to install the vending machine outside or in environments where water or steam jets are used. Important

When the temperature is approaching 0°C internal components containing water are subject to freezing. Do not use the machine in such conditions. -

Important

Press and hold TS5 FIRST, and then press TS4. Danger Rotate cup dispensing tube only after complying with conditions described in chapter “8.2 First start-up of the vending machine - Cup dispenser” .

Functions enabling key (fig. 8) Use it along with TS1 or TS4; individually it has no function. Press and hold it, and only AFTERWARD press TS1 or TS4.

Install the vending machine in an environment with temperatures that range between 10°C and 40°C. Make sure that no tampering is made during shipment checking that the original package is unopened and fastened with the proper straps. Carry the box still unopened near the installation point (see “3Handling and Storage” ), cut the straps and lift the cardboard. the condition and the model contained in the package. Check the customer kit and the bag of accessories enclosed to the vending machine (see “6.1 List of accessories” ) Remove the vending machine from the original package. We suggest saving the package for possible future moves or carriage. Free the vending machine from the residual package. Important

Remove foam covers that protect product containers during the shipment (ref. A, fig. 9). Possible disposal of package components, will have to be done in compliance with environment and local regulations. A

Water connection

Connect the vending machine to a drinking water supply pipe with a pressure ranging between 1.5 ad 8 bars. For this purpose utilise a filling pipe of adequate characteristics and connect it to a G3/4 hose” located on the vending machine rear (fig.12). Important We recommend that the vending machine be supplied with water treated by a descaling device, particularly for water with high content of calcium and magnesium (hard water).

Unit positioning

Position the vending machine at a certain distance from walls or partitions, as shown in figure (fig.10). Important

To guarantee a proper ventilation, vending machine rear must be kept at a certain distance from walls, partitions, etc., of at least 15 cm. Do not cover the vending machine with clothes or other. 99588.1

Position the vending machine on a surface of adequate dimensions, horizontal and able to its weight. The palette cannot be tilted more than 2°. If necessary, adjust its feet.

Danger For additional positions of the vending machine, you have to empty the Air break tank (ref. 37, fig.1), acting on the spring (ref. A, fig.11) that closes the drain tube.

Plug the cable into the socket (ref.34, fig.1) located in the rear . The vending machine is preset for the electric operation with a monophase voltage whose value is evidenced in the identification label (see “2.4 Vending machine identification”).

Danger

Electric socket connection has to be located in a place easily reachable by the supply operator, so that he can easily unplug the vending machine from the electric line, whenever necessary. Before the connection make sure that: • The socket main voltage to which the vending machine is connected must be in compliance with the one indicated on the label. • The electric system to which the vending machine is connected complies with current regulations and have the characteristics to the maximum load indicated by the label. If you have doubts, request an accurate control of the system by qualified personnel.

Insertion of clock module (optional) Danger

Operation to be performed by the Maintenance technician. The clock module device manages the following functions: - time display; - time when the vending machine dispenses free beverage; - time of vending machine switching on and off; - time when discounts or price increase are applied and their amounts; - time of switching on and off of coffee beans pregrinding (Standard model). - rinsing intervals. STATISTICS - programming menu item “S S” , that displays economic statistics (total coins, free selections, sold product, etc.). To insert the module you need to follow these steps: - turn the vending machine off; - open vending machine front door (ref. 1, fig.1) - open coiner plate (ref. 19, fig. 1); - slide electronic card protection plate (ref. 26, fig. 13); - insert the module (ref. A, fig.14) in the electronic card connector. Important Insert the module so that the reference (ref. B, fig.14) located on the back corresponds to that printed on the electronic card (ref. C, fig.14) or on the base. -

reinsert the protection plate; close the coiner plate; close front door; turn the vending machine on. B

Labels and stickers assembly

To assemble beverage label you need to: - Separate, following the dotted line, the beverage labels provided. - Apply adhesive prices on beverage labels. - Insert labels in their specific seat from the slots of the door inside (ref. A, fig. 15).

Insert the instructions for vending machine use, in the front door bottom (ref. 1, fig.1), so that they overlap the advertising image. To do this do the following: - Turn the vending machine off; - open front door; - unscrew right frame (ref. B, fig. 16) knobs (ref. A, fig. 16) that stop the advertising image; - remove the frames;

7 - PROGRAMMING This chapter describes how to set and/or modify the vending machine programmed parameters. Important The sequence of display and programming, varies according to whether the clock model is present to whether you choose to select a complete or a reduced menu. Therefore, read carefully this chapter, and do not carry out any operations before having understood the exact sequence of all operations to be performed. The main items of the programming menu are: • SYSTEM MANAGEMENT • PAYMENT SYSTEM • BEVERAGE PREPARATION • PRICE MANAGEMENT • TIME MANAGEMENT (with clock module) STATISTIC (with clock • COUNTER (without clock module)/STATISTIC module)

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT It allows to: - set the language to be used by the Vending Machine; - assign a code to the vending machine; - display the serial number; - insert or modify the to access the programming; - modify vending machine lowest and highest operating temperatures; - modify current time and date (with clock module); - insert text lines that will be displayed while dispensing the beverage, when the vending machine is in stand-by mode and when it stops out of service; - pre-select decaffeinated dispensing; - dispense the stirrer with each beverage or only with those that show a quantity of sugar already preset; - enable grounds stop - enable drain tank stop - choose the complete- or reduced-programming menu.

PAYMENT SYSTEM It allows to set the following parameters: - communications protocol; - coin and banknote value; - enabling to multi-product dispensing (residual credit management); OVER-PAY - “O Y” management. - the position of the decimal point in the credit management; - the nation code (international dialling code); - the number of fixed zeros in the credit management.

BEVERAGE PREPARATION It allows the preparation of eight dispensable beverages. Each beverage can be obtained combining one or more products (instant and coffee beans in the Standard version, only instant in the instant version). The dispensing will occur according to the sequence, the quantity (instant, water and sugar) and the speed set. The numbers making the sequence identify the containers (fig.18).

Danger

Any possible error in setting the instant causes an insufficient rinsing of the mixer, which is signalled by a beep. Important An additional modification to the sugar quantity can be performed (with “UP” and “DOWN” keys) before selecting the beverage to be dispensed.

The change will only be valid for that single dispensing. After setting every beverage, it is possible to make test dispensing directly from the test menu.

PRICE MANAGEMENT

TIME MANAGEMENT This item appears when on the electronic card is installed the clock module that manages the functions listed in chapter “6.5 Insertion of clock module” . Important With the installed clock module (ref. A, fig. 14) the settings managed by “F R E E” function are included in the “T I M E M A N A G E M E N T” item.

COUNTER It allows to count partial and total dispensing of coffee and beverage. use condition through counter reading.

STATISTICS This item, that appears when on the electronic card the clock module is installed, displays the items of products to be sold that the vending machine is able to record, as: - Total coins - Total banknotes - Card-In - Card-Out - Overpay - Free selections - Total sales - Discounts - Increases - Statistics reset Important With the clock module (ref. A, fig. 14) installed, settings managed by “C O U N T E R” function are incorporated inside “S T A T I S T I C S” item.

It allows to set prices for the beverages and to choose whether dispensing free beverage or under payment ones.

To access the programming you need to: - Open front door (ref. 1, fig. 1). - Insert key to activate safety microswitch (ref. A, fig. 5). - Open coiner plate (ref. 19, fig. 1). - Press programming entry/exit key (ref. TS1, fig. 8). If no was assigned you access directly into programming. If vending machine was assigned a to enable the 0000 programming, “P 0” will appear on display with a flashing cursor on the first digit, then you need to: - Digit the using “UP” and “DOWN” keys. Parameter change and storage

To display parameter to be modified you have to: - Access programming (see “7.2 Programming mode entry/exit“). - Scroll main menu items using “UP” e “DOWN” keys. - Stop the selection on the item that manages the desired function. - Press “Enter” key to enter the item. - If necessary, scroll functions with “UP” e “DOWN” keys. - Stop the selection on the function you need to display or modify the parameters. - Press “Enter” key to display the parameter.

Important In some cases parameters are already modifiable at this level (see “7.1 Programming structure” ).

Entry/exit from programming mode

To modify and memorise the parameter you need: Important Entered digits and modified parameters have always to be confirmed with “Enter” key. -

Press “Enter” key to access the modification. Parameter is ready to be modified when cursor appears under the first modifiable digit. - Increase or decrease digit value using “UP” o “DOWN” keys. By pressing “Enter” key the displayed digit is memorised and replaces the previous one, simultaneously cursor moves to next digit. - Execute the same procedure to set the remaining digits. - After modification of digits is complete, confirm the new parameter using “Enter” key. When cursor disappears, variation is accepted. In some cases the parameter to be stored has to be selected among YES NO DAYS OF a list of preset parameters (“Y S” and “N O” , “D WEEK K” , etc…). In these cases “UP” and “DOWN” keys have the function to scroll the cursor or display possible choices. Example of parameter setting MIN. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT This function allows to set the following parameters:

LANGUAGE ENTER It allows to select the language to be used by the vending machine. At the programming mode entry, a is requested, to allow proceeding with the programming. The default is 00000 “0 0” . In this case, at the beginning of the programming, it CHANGE is not requested. To set it see “C D”. Take note of the new .

VMCODE 00000 (modifiable) It allows to assign an identification code for each vending machine.

STOP It allows to set the maximum number of dispensable coffee, beverage or soluble powder quantity. Once reached the maximum amount, the vending machine stops the dispensing of relevant beverages. When the dispensing red light turns on (ref. SP, fig. 7) it means that limit has been reached. ** Numbers preceded by “* *” , refer to product quantity (coffee, RESET STOP beverage or soluble) dispensed by the last “R P” LIM (not modifiable value), if preceded by “L M” it means the maximum dispensable quantity (modifiable value). DRIP CONTAINER It allows to enable equipment stop when the drain tank is full.

PRESELECTION DECA YES It allows to enable preselection of decaffeinated on “ENTER” key. YES Programming “Y S” option, in the beverage programming menu BEVERAGE PREPARATION at “B N” item, among parameters to be set, it will also appear: BEVERAGE A COFFEE DECA: 000 Set dispensing values for decaffeinated coffee in all beverage in BEVERAGE PREPAwhich coffee is included (see also “B RATION N” ). MULTIPLE BEVERAGE 02 It allows to set, with SAECO CARD installed, multiple dispensing of beverage. It allows to select which beverage will be enabled for multiple dispensing and the number of dispensing. The upper line will stay the same for all following operations, while the lower one will show the number of consecutive beverages. It is possible to set a new value between 1 and 8. MULTIPLE BEVERAGE YES , ABC H After confirming set value, the item displaying which beverages YES are enabled (“Y S” ) to multiple sale appears.

It is the vending machine serial number, it is set by the Manufacturer and can only be displayed.

CHANGE 0000 It allows to set a (by default “0 0” ), to avoid that not authorised people access the programming. Upon confirm, you access menu items: NEW confirm to set the new number. The , when is set, will be asked for every time you access the programming.

Caution Take note of new since, in case of loss, it will no longer be possible to access the programming. BEVERAGE A SEQUENCE: C300 It defines the order in which products beverage is made of are prepared and dispensed (A in this case). Important In this function no product matches with 0. Therefore, with a combination of digits “C 3 0 0” or “C 0 3 0” or “0 C 3 0” , coffee beans (standard version) first and then product 3 will be dispensed.

In case the sequence expects more soluble products, the sequence SOLUBLE - WATER - % SOLUBLE “S E” will appear again. Important If parameter programming concerning soluble (soluble, soluble water and % soluble) is such to extend powder dispensing beyond water dispensing, the vending machine stops powder dosing and emits a beep (insufficient mixer rinsing). Check again the set parameters to obtain a correct dispensing (powder dispensing must end a few instants before the end of water dispensing to allow a good rinsing of the mixer).

In the instant version, sequence is displayed with a series of number, letter “C ” does not appear (referred to coffee beans only). In accordance with the sequence parameters settings concerning products the beverage is made of will be requested. BEVERAGE A SOLUBLE 3: 005 It defines the quantity of soluble product to mix with water. Example: 005 indicates that 5 units of soluble product 3 will be utilised. Reference unit is preset by the manufacturer.

BEVERAGE A COFFEE: 38 (8P standard only) It defines the quantity of coffee to dispense. Example: 38 indicates that 38 ground coffee units will be dispensed. Reference unit is preset by the manufacturer. Important The quantity of dispensable coffee is adjustable from 0 to 500 with steps of 2. Product dispensing does not occur when parameter is set on “0 0 0 0” .

Important The quantity of soluble powder is adjustable from 0 to 250 with steps of 1. The product dispensing does not occur when the parameter is set on “0 0 0 0” .

BEVERAGE N WATER 3: 022 It defines the quantity of water to mix with soluble in powder. Example: 3 indicates that water will be mixed with soluble product 3. 022 indicates that 22 units of water will be dispensed into the soluble product. Reference unit is preset by the manufacturer. Letters indicate beverages associated to that price. To associate a beverage to one previously set price, using “UP” and “DOWN” keys go to desired price, then press the key corresponding to the beverage (ref. A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H, fig. 7) to which you want to associate the price. The letter that appears on display will confirm the matching of the beverage with the price. To leave the function press “CANCEL” .

Beverage dispensing

Vending machine operation - Enable electric functions (main switch in “I” position). Fill vending machine water circuit proceeding as follows: - Open front door; - Insert the key (ref. A, fig. 5) to activate safety microswitches. Important

This operation, necessary for vending machine installation, disables the safety system provided on the door opening. Therefore, it has to be performed by skilled personnel, with knowledge of risks working on live equipment. -

8.4

Messages and signals of special situations

Vending machine operation is completely, or partly, blocked when some products are missing or abnormal condition occurs. Display located on the control provides the reasons that caused the block. When a trouble occurs to the vending machine, a message (ex.: CALL ASSISTANCE – OUT OF SERVICE “C 01 1” ) appears on display. OUT OF SERVThe number that follows the indication “O ICE E”, is the code of said trouble. To display the type of trouble, you need to: - open front door; - insert key to exclude safety (ref. A, fig. 5); - open coiner plate (ref. 19, fig. 1); - press “RESET” key (ref. TS2, fig. 8); - display shows the message concerning the type of trouble CALL ASSISTANCE - NO WAoccurred (ex.: “C TER R”). Once the trouble has been eliminated, you need to: - press “RESET” key again (ref. TS2, fig. 8) to RESET; - close coiner plate (ref. 19, fig. 1); - remove the safety disabling key and close front door.

Important One of the causes that determine a condition of out of service is the valve block (ref. A, fig. 23) which closes the water entrance.

First thing to do to attempt the release consists of emptying the water possibly present in the pipe (ref. B, fig. 23), protruding under the machine.

In order to do that, slide the spring, as shown in the figure, and drain the water into a tank.

After emptying the pipe, close it, and replace the spring in in its original position.

All parts to be cleaned are easily accessible and do not require tools. Regular maintenance and cleaning preserve and maintain the vending machine efficient for a longer period and guarantee compliance with hygienic standards. Counters installed inside the vending machine count the number of dispensing performed and allow to program ordinary maintenance interventions by a Maintenance technician. Inside the vending machine, the Maintenance technician, can use a 230 Volt bipolar socket (ref. A, fig. 24). 9 - MAINTENANCE

In case of trouble, switch off immediately the vending machine, stop the power supply using the unipolar switch or pulling the plug and the closest service centre.

9.2 9.1

Before performing any maintenance and/or cleaning operation, disconnect the vending machine from the power supply and wait for it to cool down. In order to obtain maximum quality of dispensed beverage and a guarantee of a better operation of the vending machine it is necessary to comply with provisions contained in this booklet. -

Not removable components and the vending machine have to be cleaned, when not differently specified, only using cold or lukewarm water, utilising not abrasive sponges and a damp cloth. (this operation must not be performed on the exposed eletric parts) Do not use direct water jets.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Maintenance operations have to be performed at least once a year and include integrity control of the vending machine and its compliance with system provisions. Danger It is absolutely forbidden to clean or upkeep the machine, with the key that disables the safety microswitch inserted (ref. A, fig. 5) . Important All parts of the vending machine have to be rinsed exclusively with warm water without using any detergent or solvent that could modify its form or operativity. Important

Product containers

Sugar container

To clean the sugar container use the same procedure, described in the chapter “products containers” . Except for the front conveyor (ref. 29, fig. 29) that must be rotated and removed from its seat, in order to be separated from the container.

Lift upper door (ref.11, fig. 1). Remove containers from their housing, lifting them lightly to simply removing them (fig. 29). Containers do not need a specific maintenance. However it is necessary to clean them at least monthly making sure that at the moment of supply they are perfectly dry. Containers can be separated by the front silicon bushing (ref. B, fig. 29) by pressing and pulling toward you the rubber clamp (ref. C, fig. 29) and from the rear bushing (ref. E, fig. 29) rotating it counterclockwise, allowing the removal of rear pin (ref. A, fig. 29) and spring (ref. D, fig. 29). Clean the containers using a dry rag or a jet of compressed air and reassemble them by reversing the operations, checking that rear pin sealing ring be perfectly intact.

Important Clean thoroughly the duct (ref. 21, fig. 30) and the rocker arm (ref. B, fig. 30) of the sugar dispensing device.

Drip tray To access drip tray (ref. 31, fig. 1) you need: - Open front door. - Remove directly the tray. - Clean it and replace it.

Open front door. Remove removable elements (drawers, trays, etc.). Clean internally the vending machine with a dry rag or with a vacuum cleaner.

Replacement of mixer fan

Slide elements that form the mixer (see “9.2 Cleaning and maintenance - Mixer and dispenser” ) Remove the old fan (ref. A, fig. 37), pulling it vigorously. Insert the new fan in the provided shank (ref. B, fig. 37). Press in an axial direction until the fan reaches the limit stop. Important The manufacturer declines any responsibility for possible malfunctioning caused by a wrong or poor maintenance.

10 - VENDING MACHINE SCRAPPING Waste disposal arising from the vending machine scrapping, will have to be performed in compliance with the environment, avoiding to pollute ground, water and air. In any case you will have to comply with local relevant provisions in force. Make unusable the vending machine pulling the cable from the socket (ref. 35, fig. 1). Deliver the unserviceable vending machine to a proper collection centre.

11 - VARIATIONS OF INSTANT D.A. 8P VERSION The “D.A. 8P instant” vending machine allows to dispense beverages using only soluble powders contained in the four containers (see 8.2 First start-up of the vending machine - Container supply).

11.1

Variations of equipment

The INSTANT equipment differs from the STANDARD one for lacking of: - coffee beans container (ref. 16, fig. 1); - coffee grinder unit (ref. 27, fig. 1); - coffee unit (ref. 28, fig. 1). Instead of a coffee unit, a container has been installed (ref. 33, fig. 1), with its mixer (ref. 34, fig. 1), to make soluble coffee.

Soluble coffee (not decaffeinated) has to be poured into container 4 (Fig. 18). Important Soluble decaffeinated coffee has to be necessarily poured into container 3 (Fig. 18). 38
