An Introduction to Transpersonal Development For Those Who Have No Clear Definition of Divinity and Who Are Convinced That The Absence of Evidence is a Real Form of Evidence

A Contemporary Exegesis of The Chicken Qabbalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford

(Presented at the 2021 Auto-Initiatus Self-Transcendensis Ceremony) (Written: In Honour of Baba Lon Milo DuQuette By The Dean of The Transpersonal Psychology Department of The Zerubbabel Institute of Philosophical Youth aka “Our Holy Order”.)

Enlightenment typically consists of a set of developmental stages of both spiritual and psychological growth.

Before enlightenment begins (i.e., before one is aware of their potential for enlightenment). One’s life is typically based around defending their selves from suffering. Before enlightenment there is always “something” missing within them or in their life and they are never truly satisfied, they are only briefly happy with each achievement, reward, or victory and then they return to looking for “that thing” that is missing.

Well, if you haven’t realized it yet the missing “thing” is Enlightenment and it’s missing the same way your breathing is missing when you’re not paying attention to it (i.e., you have enlightenment but you forgot how to feel it so you don’t recognise it right here and now in this moment).

If you are already enlightened, congratulations on finding your head, but what Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford says: “It’s all in your head…you just don’t know how big your head is.” Heading: It’s Time We Discussed Your Head

Now let me explain the developmental aspect, how exactly you develop at noticing your own head, which by the way you most likely think is missing and you were most likely taught by the media that your head is at the closest shop near you! That some food, drug, device, vehicle, job, footwear, or anything else besides You… can give your head (which if you looked at the black mirror of your smartphone as you lock it, you will immediately see your head but right now we are discussing your Godhead which is ontological).

Okay, back to how you can get better at being aware of and better at using your head (i.e., spiritual and psychological development respectively). By the way, there is no such thing as a head without a body, and no such thing as a body

without an ecosystem, and no such thing as an ecosystem without a universe, so your head is the whole universe but you’ll find that out soon enough you don’t need to believe me.

Each stage of spiritual and psychological development (or simply, transpersonal development) is like a spatial dimension. The first stage is like the 0th dimension which is a single point in space. This is honestly no space at all, so it is like not being aware of your head at all. You could easily find yourself looking for your head as you your are now.

To extend our metaphor we’ll say that the first four stages or dimensions take us from being newborns to being average adults in society. The 0th to the 4th dimension are called Personal Consciousness because they are what makes you a person but your personhood or ego or personality is just one of the taste buds on your tongue in of finding your head, and your head is the universe one taste bud isn’t nearly enough of your head.

The second reason we can consider stages of transpersonal development as spatial dimensions is that with each spatial dimension we can perceive completely new distinctions and connections among things. The 0th dimension compared to the 1st dimension is a world of dots compared to a world of lines. Lines can connect and divide dots to create entirely new images, so with each stage much like each dimension you experience more of your head (i.e., everything) than the previous stage but also you have an altogether deeper understanding of the previous dimensions. For example, if we assume that the average adult is in the 3rd dimension with length, width, and depth. A world which spatially contains the 0th to the 2nd dimensions completely and includes much more than those in the 0th to the 2nd dimension can comprehend.

As part of our example let’s consider the difference between a square which is 2 dimensional and that exists in a flat-world, a reality of blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. To the 3 dimensional world which contains the entire 2

dimensional reality ,like a piece of paper. The 2 dimensional world is an incomplete drawing of real 3D cubes like boxes and buildings. You can see that six squares make a template for a cube and a cube can be drawn but real boxes are altogether something else in comparison to their drawings. But much like a child that is too young to comprehend the complexities of adult life for a person of earlier (not lower, lesser, but earlier) stages to understand the reality of later stages is increasingly difficult the greater the distance between stages.

For example, a line (1D) is made of dots (0D). Similarly, a square (2D) is made of lines (1D). The previous stage fits perfectly as a part of the next stage but each following stage adds a dimension, qualities, and aspects of reality and an awareness of and ways to use your head that are inconceivable and in some cases are damn right offense to previous stages. When you are in each stage of transpersonal development you experience reality from the perspectives available within that stage, but you can learn how to change your stage freely.

A reason why you wouldn’t want to be stuck in a certain stage is because being 5 years old is not always better than being 15 nor is being 55 always better than being 25. Some problems are 2 dimensional or more generally, specific to each stage and require the capacities of that specific stage to be solved well. Although using 4th dimensional problem solving once one has fully integrated it (i.e., one has become proficient in using the 0th to the 4th dimensional abilities a.k.a. knows how to use their head better) they will be capable of solving problems in the previous dimensions so much more effectively because they can quite literally see aspects of each problem and solutions that can not be seen by those in 0th to the 3rd dimension.

My Godhead is…Exactly The Same Size as Yours

Now that we understand that stages of transpersonal development are like spatial dimensions and:

Each stage is literally like having a different head. Earlier stages can’t experience what later stages do. Later stages have a deeper experience of earlier stages and reality in general. A bigger head is not always better. Everyone’s head is the same size but our maturity and functionality vary even though our potentials are equally infinite (again don’t believe any of this until it is blatantly obvious to you, as obvious as the ground beneath you).

Okay, now the 0th to 4th dimension is Personal Consciousness this is what we typically call the unenlightened state or the egoic stages. The 5th dimension to the 8th dimension are Impersonal Consciousness. Impersonal Consciousness is the first type which is usually itted to be Transpersonal ‘trans’ meaning beyond personhood or ego or personality or identity. At the fifth stage you enter the first stage of Enlightenment, you realize that the most talkative voice in your head is not your real head but that your actual head is your real head (I said it in a funny way but it will make sense…eventually…somewhere deep within it makes sense in the later dimensions its obvious.).

Finally, now that we know that stuff in later dimensions is as obvious to those in later dimensions as stuff is in the previous dimensions (i.e., when you see what they call ‘an angel’ you will be quite sure its an angel the same way you see a tree and are quite sure its a tree. By the way seeing a tree doesn’t make you a botanist the same way that seeing an angel doesn’t make you an expert on angels.). For example, in 2D a square is very obviously a square and not a triangle or a rectangle or even a rhombus no matter how underdeveloped your scribbles are, you can see that squiggly #1 is not squiggly #2. For example, ‘A’ and ‘B’ are similar characters but they are not each other nor are they ‘H’ or ‘P’ or even ‘F’. Similarly, in 3D, cubes and cones are obviously differently things, you can look at two trees and know for yourself that they are different. The fun part of later dimensions is that now in 3D you can turn over the piece of paper which is flat and you can clearly say that it has two sides/faces and edges. In a flat world (2D) you fall off the edge, but in a round world (3D) you just go to the other side.

The World Ends With A Small ‘Aha.’

Okay, finally ,for real this time,. For those of you who have found your head you will many times make the mistake of thinking that you’ve found all of it and

there is no more head left to find. If I simplify, and use the smallest meaningful difference between stages of transpersonal development. There are at least 320 stages, using a more reasonable distinction to group the stages there at least 80 stages. If we are using the dummy model presented above we’ll just say there a hundred (100 distinct dimensions all with their own infinite amount of special stuff). I’m saying this because we get to stage 16 where the suffering seems to disappear but then later at about 25 we find that we were in 2846409 different kinds of suffering that we didn’t notice before, even our concepts of ‘pain’ or ‘impact’ will be challenged. We end up discussing ‘flows of energy’ or ‘spectrums of intensities’ long before we learn to shut up but don’t shut up because effing the ineffable is a great part of the fun and in each generation the Godhead needs it’s nose-hairs counted and trimmed, each new pinhead needs its angels, many symbols need shunting, there has to be people to do inventory and price adjustments for the Cosmos’ supply of dead cat’s heads, each navel needs inspecting, every wall needs a new coat of paint, and there’s a lot of wood that needs chopping and a lot water that needs to be carried, and many other auspicious duties at The Zerubbabel Institute of Philosophical Youth.

I personally propose that the 100th stage or dimension is the entrance into the Ultimate, it is not itself the Ultimate or final stage it is just an entrance into types of transpersonal development that are uncountable and unenglishable. At around stage 70-80 you stop being limited to one head at a time and instead you have all the heads from 0-80 to play with. Then at about the 90th dimension you find out about negative dimensions which are heads made out of nothing. So, in the end there is the -100th to the 100th stage from negative infinity to positive infinity, from the nothingest nothing before nothing becomes nothing at all to the everythingest everything after which everything becomes more than The All.

In the simplest you enter The Infinite in which you find out that your head is Everything. But you really need to think about what everything really entails. Which following the Ultimate stage which is mainly postgraduate activities, you become like a child talking about ‘Everything + 1’ , ‘Everything + 2’, or you even do silly things like ‘1N’, ‘2N’, ‘3N’ and you discover Georg Cantor the mathematician and start trying to teach yourself set theory but still. Eventually, you go pay your respects to Kurt Gödel in upper lokas. and treat them to

Shpongle and Entheogenic.

As we go “past” the The Infinite you discover entirely new types of “infinities” and ‘cardinals’ like The Mystery, The Void, and “finally” The Nonsensical. If you think infinities or everythings or nothings are weird, nonsensical stuff is asemic or transemantic in fancy . It’s pure experience, what is an experience? Can anyone describe ‘experience’ without regressing to other synonyms or simply saying ‘well, experience is your head.’ and yes, you finally find your head but you had never lost it. The Buddha Gautama says ‘I am awake.’ Yet I ask you, you wake up every day, but do you even know what it means to be awake? More importantly, are you awake when you are dreaming and you know that you are dreaming? There’s much talk about Ultimate Reality and transcendence and the Transpersonal and all the other stories of faeries and angels, gods and demons and devas. It’s all really truly real, and it’s much like the trees (i.e., seeing a tree does not make you goddamn botanist!). It is the obvious and nonsensical when you arrive but if you’ve lost your head you may very well convince yourself that there aren’t any heads at all or maybe even “your only real head is the oone that has our meat-brains in it.” I’m not saying that our head is not made of meat , I’m saying that there are thousands of years of stories of faeries, angels, gods, demons, devas, and all the other ancestral spirits a much longer history than the stories about our meat-brains. But if it is just our meat-brain that is our real head and we also take magick seriously, you will soon find yourself as an initiate of The Zerubbabel Institute of Philosophical Youth. Even now in the diaspora of Our Holy Order there are many headless Chicken Qabbalists playing competitive Gematria, Notarikon, and Temurah. All their sponsors gather to cheer them on with shouts of “Shem HaMephorash!” as they clink their gnostic eucharists.

For our graduating initiates, we at the Z.I.P.Y Transpersonal Psychology Department wish them a great: Shem HaMephorash! And to all our visiting alumni we say: Abrahadabra! To our new initiates we ask them: What is the correct pronunciation of The Tetragrammaton? To aide our new initiates I will conclude with a presentation of an English rendition of the classic Zulu Buddhist gem: The Khanda Sutra and Lila the concluding poem of the The Great Way series an auspicious Zulu Taoist text, which has been weaved through out this

presentation.

The Khanda Sutra An Answer to: Why is it called “The Godhead”? Shouldn’t it be “The Godheart” or something?

Student: Oh Great Guru, Parasammaharaj-ji , Oh wise initiate of The Zerubbabel Institute of Philosophical Youth, my sweet Tathagatha, Neuter Quintuple Five (55555), The Mother Carrion, Mahakaliavatar, Chamundamayimaa, Ndoniyamanzi. Sri sri sri, Venerable Ntombemnyama, I will give you my life. Only tell me, where is my head?

Ntombemnyama: The path to your head is transpersonal development. And your head is the true Parasammaharaj-ji. My head teaches us gently that you must practice the following steadfastly, with perseverance, neither over-exerting nor under-exterting yourself, without straying from The Great Way nor abandoning your humanity:

Yama – do everything you can to protect and feed your head while you search for it. Niyama – do nothing to injure your head before you can find it. Asana – prepare your body structurally so it is healthy and prepared for the long search for your head. This is what is usually called yoga as a physical exercise, physical exercise is good but don’t mistake it for looking for your head. Pranayama – prepare your body physiologically so you have the energy and power to complete the search for your head. Pratyahara – just sit and direct your attention to your breathing at the entrance of your nostrils. (start looking for your head)

Dharana – if you get distracted and you stop feeling the air entering and exiting your nostrils, go back to step 5. (make sure that you never forget that you are looking for your head not for sex). Dhyana – if your breath frequently disappears but you don’t forget that you are breathing because you are still alive. Notice, now that you are not frequently distracted and your mind and body are peaceful, calm, quiet, relaxed, and AWAKE! You may now stop directing your attention and just sit. Stay awake! But also just sit. Don’t get distracted, and don’t concentrate just sit. If you sat successfully for at least five minutes and weren’t excessively distracted or too busy concentrating on anything, you were in fact meditating. Much like Asana is not truly Yoga, concentration is not truly Meditation. Dharana is preparation for looking for your head but Dhyana is now properly looking for your head, so don’t fuss about, look for your head.) (If you know that you are in fact looking for your head, skip all the preparation and find your head the point is also not just to look for it but to find it.) Samadhi – now you find your head, you’ve looked long enough. Just sit and find your head. I really mean it, you’ve worked hard to get here you’d be disappointed if you didn’t find it, since you were looking for it. So, just sit and find your head. Make sure you are in fact also looking (i.e., meditating) otherwise you won’t find it because you won’t be looking for it. Kevala – as you keep finding your heads make you sure are learning how to use all your new heads so that there is no more attachment, no addiction to anything not even the current breath, moment, love, comion, or your children (note: I say no attachment and addiction to these things you still have to be a decent person). Attachment and addiction are the causes of suffering. You have to get rid of all the suffering, your own suffering first, so once you have all your heads completely free of all suffering in all areas of your life then you’ll get your Ultimate Head, or as the Chicken Qabbalists call it “Head Final”. Yama and Niyama? Do Yama and Niyama but now you actually know what you are protecting and caring for. But don’t just keep it in pretty boxes go use it at work, in your relationships, in love, in art, in science, in technology, in activism, in governance ,and in the rest of your life. You know that sex, magick, and especially that sex magick that was distracting you try using your head during sex, magick, and especially during sex magick. For once in your damn life use your head.

Lila – The Great Way is not easy , is not difficult, nor neutral (i.e., tasteless nor tasteful). Now that you have your Ultimate Head (i.e., The Godhead aka Head Final) you reduce all your transpersonal development time which you raised from 5 minutes a day to 25 hours everyday to just 25-30 minutes a day and that is just enough time to polish the whole Godhead. Lila means play which describes the infinite games of life. Free from suffering, both causing it for yourself and others, because everything is in your head, you can now play all the games. The simple caveat is that all these games will be like children’s games for you. A decent adult can have great fun playing children’s games because they know that they were made by adults in the first place. With the full power to create your own games on any scale you like myself will be carried by the six dragons of The Unspeakable Tao, which we of course have a name for because we created language through The Unspeakable Tao which is none other than The Great Way which is Yours and everyone else’s actual head. Simply, now that you’re a real adult you can actually live the life you came here to live. So, the final instructions are: learn to live, learn to live well, live broadly, live long, live deeply, and live thoroughly.
